What made it even more special is that they cooked the fresh fish we caught that very morning. And wow—every dish was incredible. Perfectly seasoned, beautifully prepared, and full of authentic local flavor. You can’t beat eating your own catch, cooked to perfection right by the beach.
If you’re in Punta de Mita, La Cabaña is a must-visit. Amazing people, amazing food, and an experience you’ll remember long after you leave. Highly recommend!

La Cabaña is one of the most authentic Mexican sea food restaurants en la Punta with beach front. The staff are very friendly and the food and drinks are delicious too! I especially loved the tacos covered in coconut and the ceviche (big portion). Oh the piñada and the fresada were delicious!

We like the piña coladas, the margaritas are huge and very strong. We split fajitas, kinda a small portion for the price but the drinks are great. Service can vary greatly, one time took like an hour to get our check because homie was working upstairs also. Great views of the waves though!

Had a great dinner here. Excellent fish tacos, ceviche and guacamole with a generous sized margarita. Even had some chicken strips for kiddos. Service was on point, great view and reasonably priced! Good experience all around.

This is the most amazing restaurant in this area. The ocean views are wonderful. Sit on the second floor to get a 180° view of the bay and the ocean. The food is extraordinary and very reasonably priced. We had the best meal of our vacation at this restaurant, far superior to any resort food and it doesn’t cost much to come by Uber. Their nachos finally have the perfect chip to topping ratio. This was one of our favorite memories on our trip.

We arrived to La Cabaña hungry and tired after hiking to the summit of The Monkey Mountain.
We were received with a smile and prompt service.
Our cocktails and food were great, as was the view. The prices didn’t reflect the fact that we were in a very pricey area.

Great food, affordable and Carlos gave fast service. This place is right on the water. We 4 senior Americans wanted appetizers so guacamole and grilled fish tacos hit the spot. Also nearby ask for Rudi, the fixer, for fishing, whale watching, or whatever.
