They have a six-page menu so there is a lot of variety. Tonight my son-in-law and I had the Pollo poblano and it was great! Not pictured were the 3 flour tortillas and salsa and chips that we got also.

Very good experience. I was the only “Anglo” in the place, but everyone (staff and other customers) was super friendly and tolerated my slow Spanish. Staff was fluent in English. The food was decent. I would go back again when I’m in that area.

Stopped in for some dinner on our way to Houston. Excellent roadside cantina and Tex-mex spot.
Flavorful table salsa with a good texture. Plentiful and tasty chips to go with it. Tried the Chile con Queso, which was excellent. Loved having the jalapeños on the side to add more heat when you want it.
I had the Cancun plate to try out a variety. Loved the taco meat. Good guacamole. The refried beans were chunkier than I like but the flavor was very good. Cheese Enchiladas were solid with a good meat sauce.
My wife had the Chicken Cabana Taco, which ended up being a single large soft taco that used a unique fried bread like I see on tortas. It was a little heavy but very flavorful. The filling though was outstanding. Fajita chicken and veggies in a excellent cheese sauce. It felt like a signature dish and tasted like the chef really put some work into it. Recommended.
Friendly and attentive staff all around really topped off the visit.

The beef enchilada plate was stale like the food was frozen and not fresh. The flan was not good so skip that. The chips are the thick kind and not my favorite. Stick with the carne asada plate as it seems like a better deal. Service is friendly and attentive. Will try again later and see if they improve.

Great little taqueria. Food 5 stars, queso 3 stars, service 3 stars. Tasty queso flameado, good salsa Rojo. We didn’t get drink refills on water, or soda, but the food was tasty.
