Had the best Bean & Cheese burrito! Simple should not be bland and these guys knocked it out of the park with their deliciously prepared beans and melted cheese in what seemed like a homemade tortilla. Perfection!

The wet burrito was excellent. Lots of care putting on sauce and cheese and then reheating the beast in the microwave. The contents were heavy on delicious shredded chicken and lighter on beans and rice as it should be. My friend was astonished. I finished the entire thing. The horchata was cold and not overly sweet, as is often the case at other restaurants. There is a small dining room with about six small tables and a well-varied salsa bar. Very nice people working the counter. Excellent prices.

i’ve been here three times now and i would say that this place makes pretty good burritos. i like the carne asada special burrito but tbh the chips could be better (they don’t taste salted at all, quite bland). the horchata is pretty good, the workers are friendly, and the prices aren’t as bad as they could be. super convenient location, good vibe inside, and a fair amount of indoor seating. i came here for my 19th birthday dinner with my parents and really enjoyed it.

La burrita Is yummy!!!!! Located not far from Cal University. I ordered a super burrito shredded beef, the delicious beef and beans and rice inside had good flavor. Just look at the size of it on the picture it’s huge. The atmosphere Is good, very busy inside and the service was good as well. I will say this, the restaurant is a little small and could get crowded easily but overall this is a perfect restaurant to eat. Give la burrita a try!!!

Visit for nostalgia and it is double the price from 2010. No longer cash only, portion seems smaller than memory, but still delicious. Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 – Ground beef regular burrito (5) is a bit oily but so flavorful! Solid burrito (even if a bit runny) that is mostly just rice and beef. The chips are crunchy and fried well but don’t forget to hit the salsa bar!

I started coming to La Burrita when I was a student in 2005. I love Mexican food, and theirs is so good. Ever since graduation, I still come back anytime I’m in Berkeley. I think I ate there 3 to 5 times a week. The chicken quesadillas and also the chicken enchilada combo (pictured) are all I order. The staff are always super nice. Food is still made fresh and fast, just like it was 20 years ago!!

La Burrita is a staple for UC Berkeley students. The burritos are tasty and at $8-11 affordable on a student budget. Additionally, the restaurant is open until 1.30am, perfect for late night study sessions. The staff is friendly and service is fast. There is limited seating.
