I have been a regular and loyal patron of this establishment for quite some time, primarily because the food is typically well prepared and flavorful. On several recent visits, however, I noticed the chicken was consistently dry. I chose not to make an issue of it, as the overall taste was still decent and the meals were otherwise satisfactory.
Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, I received yet another serving of noticeably dry chicken, this time to the point where I felt compelled to return to the drive-thru and request a replacement. Upon approaching the window, I explained the issue to the employee. As I was speaking, a male staff member, whom I later discovered to be the manager (Manuel from what I was told) approached the window and, without any courtesy or professionalism, abruptly stated, “Why you lie?”
I was stunned by the accusatory and completely inappropriate nature of his question. I calmly responded, “What do you mean, why do I lie? The chicken is dry.” Rather than engaging in any form of respectful dialogue or resolution, he turned and walked away with a dismissive and unprofessional demeanor.
Due to his attitude and approach, I no longer felt safe or comfortable accepting a replacement meal. I instead requested a refund, as I could not trust that my food would be handled properly. When I asked if he was the manager, he confirmed. I then asked if there was an owner or someone else I could speak to regarding the situation. He ignored my request, offered no further acknowledgment, and passed my card and receipt to another employee to complete the refund process.
To make matters worse, the refund was issued for $12.99, excluding tax, despite my total purchase being $13.90. However, the experience had already left such a bitter impression that I chose not to return and dispute the $0.90 difference. The issue was no longer about the food or the refund it was about the appalling lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic courtesy demonstrated by someone in a managerial position.
I will not be returning to a business where customer concerns are met with hostility, condescension, and outright disrespect. As a paying customer, I expect not only quality food but also a standard of service that reflects care and professionalism. This experience fell far below that standard and has made it abundantly clear that my loyalty is neither valued nor respected.

I visited this little restaurant believing it was another Pollo Tropical. What a surprise! The menu is full with great choices. From a delicious chimichurri steak, to chuletas de cerdo, or ceviche. Here you will find so many choices of Latino food plates. The seasoning was just right for my choice of chimichurri steak with plantains and yuca frita. If you like latín food, you definitely need to visit this place. Price from $ to $$.

I am completely disappointed! This place used to be so good and so worth the money. All these good reviews are because of that. Now after we all love it, they’re NOTHING like how they were!! The meat in the rice used to be so much u couldn’t eat a spoon of rice without huge chucks in every bite. Now, there cut the meat to where u can barely even see it or taste it. The portions have also been cut to nearly a 1/3 of what it was. Yet the prices are the same or higher. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!

Friendly and welcoming customer service. Very nice. The beef saltado was fire! And the shrimp fried rice had so much shrimp and well flavored! I love it. The glitch is you gotta eat the beef saltado with the shrimp fried rice! FIRE!!! The fried yucca was fried perfectly and the Dulce de leche churros were fire! I wish they gave you more than just 4 I need like 8 of them thangs!!!

Good evening La Brasa please check all your kitchen stove, and everything while everybody’s cooking for contamination for virus. I got sick on Friday 1/23/26 I ordered a steak with yellow rice and fries like around 1:20pm I went through the drive-through and order this food. I got home. I ate the food. After I ate the food, my stomach started feeling like weird.. Around midnight, which is Saturday I was feeling so bad that I was started pooping diarrhea with blood in it. I wanna go ahead to the hospital to the hospital And I stay there for about four a night And I was diagnosed with campylobacter. I don’t wish this to anybody who order food for this place. I used to eat there almost every day, but not anymore after this. So please check your teaching and everything for virus please clean please wash your steaks your chicken and everything. Excellent place to eat customer service is exquisite!! Everyone here was polite, courteous and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. They also have a drive thru if you don’t want to dine in.
