There was plenty of seating, there are also tables outside. The place has a cozy and authentic interior. Service was fast. There’s a good selection. My favorite thing we ordered was the coconut pineapple Danish. Everything we ordered came out to be around $24 (4 items with a coffee). Restrooms needed to be re-stocked and tables weren’t cleaned between guests.

I’ve been a customer since 2009 and I always know I’ll get great customer service at La Boulangerie, I went two months ago and last weekend I met this lovely gal, Liz, she helped me out quick, efficiently, and the most important great customer service she’s always so great and top notch. This place never disappoints. She deserves a raise she made me feel like the old times when I use to come with my friend to have a cup of coffee and eat our favourite pastries.

I have gone so many times in the mornings and every time I’m in the line many of the workers handle money and do not change gloves and touch the pastries after touching money. I have told the blonde lady to not do that but obviously she doesn’t care since she still does it. Today I went in and I bought pastries and in the middle of eating it I found a hair which I’m not surprised because I don’t ever see them wearing bear nets. Disgusting I’m not buying any more pastries from them.

Great pastries, bread, and cakes. Always delicious. The only downside is that it gets very hectic and disorganized. Long lines to order and few staff to attend everyone. Expect to wait in long lines. Also location is boujee, wish it was located somewhere else. But all in all, it’s a mission well worth it.

Celebrating a good news morning I decided to check this place out. Place is pretty busy and I can see why. I did not have anything from the bistro but as the picture shows, I did coffee bar and bakery. I will add that as patrons walk past with their dishes, the bistro looks wonderful. My treats were amazing. I have had fruit torts/tarts from several different places in my time. This one was bar none the best I’ve ever had. The cake adorned with fresh fruit was also extremely tasty. But if I had to pick just one it would be the tort. Coffee was good too but I’m not a connoisseur of coffee.

Our department bought a pink champagne cake and other pastries for a retirement party and it was horrible. The cake did not taste fresh, dry, overcooked, no taste of the whipped cream frosting, tried a cream puff and again no taste! It was absolutely horrible, to think of what we spent on this order and to have it be tasteless, overcooked and stale! I grew up in Fresno and have known La Boulangerie to be one of our top bakeries. It was very upsetting and sad that they thought this was ok to pass off to us. I expect to taste top notch pastries and cakes from La Boulangerie and this was definitely not that. This isn’t an isolated incident either because my sister and friends have had the same experience with cakes purchased from here.
