Easily a 5/5. I personally loved the cosy interior of the place. The inside seating probably fits just around 20-25 people or so? It’s nice and cosy.
Staff was very friendly and service was quick at the time I went. (Though the restaurant was only at 60% capacity at the time)
Ordered the spaghetti bolognese (yes I know it’s basic, but also it’s a good benchmark for an Italian restaurant) Came out to relative perfection.
The Gamberoni was the show stopped for me. Prawns were cooked to perfection and the seasoning was perfect
Topped it off with Tiramisu for dessert which was good as well although portion was a bit small. But tastes just right as the balance of it was good and not too sweet or too bitter from the coffee.
Easy recommendation for small group of friends up to 8, or even just for an intimidate date.

364 days a year La Botte is a great value, tasty family friendly restaurant. I’m hesitant to give away the secret as we don’t want it to get too booked out, but once a year La Botte hosts an incredible fine dining Christmas degustation feast. So great!

Food is only average. Only slightly better than your supermarket pizza. Pasta is also just average. There are a lot of good Italian restaurants around the neighbourhood so I don’t really recommend this place.

Wow !! What a GREAT discovery !! Fabulous food !! I was delighted with the delicious 4 Seasons Pizza cooked to absolute perfection. The Chicken Breast was also a winner !! If you a partial to delicious Italian food and are cruising through Willoughby be sure to stop at La Botte Willoughby Road – you will not be disappointed.

It was a late rainy Friday afternoon and we were looking for food in Willoughby. There’s not a lot of good restaurants or cafes around but La Botte was still opened. Our colleague took us here and said the food was good and he was right. My first glance at the menu was the price, it seemed a bit out of my lunch range and I’ll was opting for entree pasta size but the waiter said it would be enough for me so went for main size. I was extremely surprised how big the portion was which you don’t see from other Italian restaurants. Now I was happy with the portion, I was also satisfied how it tasted as well, one of the best spaghetti’s I’ve tasted. It didn’t take me long, I finish the dish in 10 minutes or so. The service is great, very quick probably at lunch there’s less people so not to sure about evenings.
The restaurant can easily accommodate 30-40 people inside, though it feels a bit cramped just how close the tables were setup and extra seating on the outside. The restaurant has simple interiors, very homey local Italian restaurant.
For a meal per person you will be looking at around $20-40 including a drink. Other things you’ll find on the menu include salads, different type of breads, 10 pasta dishes both in entree & main size, 11 pizzas in both small & large size, 7 main dishes including some seafood, kids menu, takeout menu, drinks and desserts. Quite A a decent range of dishes for this small restaurant.
I’ll be back to try other things soon!

Great, quick customer service and yummy food! Must try the prawns porto fino pizza! ❣️ Loved it! The chef-owner asked us in-person about the meal after we were done. The staff is very professional and on their feet throughout.

Local Italian joint. Disappointing spaghetti porto fino. Very dry, quite bland and not al dente. Margherita pizza looked more like a simple cheese pizza with no basil unless requested. Bruschetta was simple but tasty though nothing to distinguish it from something you could make at home.

We came here on a Friday night & they were quite understaffed (long wait to get the attention of staff and for food to arrive). The creamy pappardelle with sausage and Gorgonzola was tasty but the lasagne lacked flavour and body. We were recommended the entree size for the lasagne to share but it is quite small. Overall ok but would not be rushing to come back
