This place was great. Really cool atmosphere inside, nicely decorated. Burrito was huge and delicious. Veggie Chimichanga was great too. Easy to make dishes vegan. Great service. If this is on your way I totally recommend visiting!

Had lunch with my family a day ago and there were 3 people working. It was us and one other family and the environment was alright. The seats are a bit worn and ripped in places and there was a fly bugging us the whole time. When we had gotten our food it was maybe a 35 min wait. They had mixed up a few of our orders. They gave one of us a different dish and said it was ours but it was a different person’s at our table. I had order a quesdilla fajita with just chicken and cheese. There was beef and chicken in my food and the cheese was on the top like an enchilada. My mom had order enchiladas and hers had red sauce even though the menu said nothing about red sauce. They also forgot my side of fries I ordered and my brothers fries were cold even though he was served first. There was one other girl working and she hadn’t helped our waiter at all and the meals didn’t come out at once but rather slow. Our waiter was nice but the food wasn’t that good either. I would honestly try to find somewhere else.

I loved my entree (Al Pastor quesadilla)–so yummy! The waitress was very nice and attentive. The chips and salsa were only so-so.

Very clean restaurant with great service. We both had the chimi special which was absolutely delicious! Fresh homemade tortilla chips and homemade salsa served free. If you’re in or going through Leon, Iowa, this is a must stop for great Mexican food.

It’s about time, the area needed a good Mexican style food restaurant. I suggest stopping in at lunch, their deals are inexpensive and very fulfilling. Most likely will be back for the 20oz margaritas.

Don’t let the austere exterior fool you. This restaurant should be your go-to for authentic and interesting Mexican food! The staff are friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. If you ever find yourself in south central Iowa do NOT hesitate to stop by!

Passing thru a small town one would expect average Mexican, but you’d be wrong! My chorizo and chicken burrito was fantastic, with a fantastic cheese sauce. You can’t go wrong here!
