The walls and ceiling are covered with pink and white flowers. Our young waitress was lovely and the service was fast. Their portions were large.

Very authentic Mexican restaurant. Affordable. Coming up with large portions. Good service. Plenty of food options. Will definitely come back many times. A must try and best Mexican restaurant in Bloomington!

No one speaks English. No Diet/zero Coke/Pepsi. I asked for a burrito Mexican with shrimp (instead of chicken or steak). The shrimp was $6.99 and still blue tint…. raw! The burrito had mayo, lettece. No beans, no cheese…etc. the worst food. Poor service because of communication

This is just a review for the “pan dulce” sold in the store. I grew up in south Texas close to a real “panadería” and never have I had a better “concha” than the one I had today. I typically just buy the essentials like dry chiles, fresh veggies, etc. but I decided to treat myself and my kids to “pan dulce”…I’m glad I did.

I love this cute bustling grocery store, attached to a Mexican restaurant! La Bonita Market has fresh tropical fruit, I bought some perfect mangos and guavas. All the Mexican groceries you could want. They have an awesome selection of homemade paleta popsicles too!

I went today for the Menudo. As a Chicano, this place has the best Mexican food. The Menudo reminds me of home. They only serve it on Sunday! Also, they have an updated menu with new items. I will upload the menu to this review. Please note, that there are items not on the menu! Ask the waitress for daily specials.

Update 7.2.20: new owners. Inventory is stocked up. They have a Paneria. Photos are four tacos and flautas de pollo

Air conditioning running full blast (snow on the ground) we asked 3 times for them to at least turn it back so it would stop blowing on us and they didn’t even attempt to adjust it. Wore my winter coat to eat dinner in.

This place feels like a traditional Mexican establishment. The atmosphere is so similar to Mexico. The food is pretty good and the staff is great. I had a taco salad for lunch. Tasted great. It was a smaller portion than I expected, but it was filling. I’ll have to be back for some more traditional food. Overall it was great and I’ll be back.

Very happily surprised at the quality and taste of the food. It’s a big wow from us. The service was good, nothing poor or out of this world but certainly ok. Now for those of you that went to their high school prom you’ll immediately recognize the decor. Circa 1988.
