I don’t love declaring absolutes, but this might be my favorite place in Portland for a veg burrito. The garden burrito was HUGE and filled with a generous amount of veggies. Not just limp strips of pepper and onion, but perfectly cooked, flavorful carrots, green and yellow squash, corn, spinach, cilantro, and onions. I ordered a side of hash browns and added some of those to the burrito. I ate it for two meals, but could definitely have split it into three!

Great portions with delicious, authentic food!
I had a chorizo breakfast burrito with added mole, and it was divine. Super great salsa (creamy habanaro carrot, I think?) Made this an extremely memorable meal!
Chilaquiles were on point, and Horchata was flavorful, without being too sweet like most places.
I definitely recommend this low key joint, especially for brunch (they open at 11) if the nearby “hot places” like Fair Weather or Broder Cafe are packed (1 hr wait like we had).
Also — They have AMAZING house made tortillas available for purchase to go, so grab some on your way out!

Honestly the amazing Mexican food and I found it by luck and after around a month since I moved im really aching to come back. Prices $4 for a big taco might be steep but when you get it. Firstly have it take out go home grab to flower shells then disect it and split it apart then you have two perfect sizes with the best meat on division. But honest get your self a quesadia they are the best .

Ordered via Uber Eats and got two chicken burritos and a side of chips with pico and guacamole. The order didn’t match the ingredient requests to reflect the extra onions, cilantro, and beans and the order was also missing the guacamole which was the one ingredient I was looking forward to the most.

La Bonita is the best. Service is phenomenal, burritos + tacos are delish and I appreciate the new vinyl booth upgrades at the division location! Took off one ⭐️ due to the recent discontinuation of the habanero salsa. It was AMAZING!! I hope they bring it back soon. The new salsa is good but doesn’t hit the same. You feel me?

As a half Italian/Indian I might not know the most about Mexican cuisine. But as someone who’s had Italian food I’ll say that the red sauce kinda just tastes like marinara, and adding marinara on a burrito and charging 4 dollars is pretty wild. That being said the burrito was pretty decent and the side sauces weren’t too bad either.

This cute lil restaurant has the best tacos and amazing service! Homemade tortillas, loaded meat and not your tiny little street tacos, and everyone working was so kind! Please support and pay with cash when you can!

I got all this food for under 22$!! This was an amazing deal. I’m 6’7 and I was stuffed after eating. I got a chicken burrito add guacamole, side of chips and pico, Jamaica. So much flavor!. The chips had the perfect amount of salt, they weren’t greasy. The burrito was fricken huge. And it wasn’t just a little scoop of guacamole, it had guacamole throughout the entire burrito! Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The entire restaurant and bathroom are very clean, the music is nice it’s loud enough to listen but be able to have a conversation at your table. Out of all places I’ve been food carts included (roughly 25 different places) this place definitely ranks high for my top 5! Awesome establishment!
