The food was fresh, I can absolutely say this is the best Haitian restaurant I’ve ever been to in Broward. The griot was seasoned well, the diri kole was also delicious, I enjoy the akra it’s one of my favorites reminds me of how my grandma makes hers. Service is always welcoming I always have the best restaurant experience whenever I dine in and eat, definitely check La belle Monique out for a 10/10 overall service.

Honestly best Haitian restaurant in Broward hands down food was so good honestly my mother used to cook good but until I entered La belle Monique I can definitely tell you it’s different would highly recommend people to visit this restaurant.

I ordered a dinner and wanted an extra side (willing to pay for it). The woman in the kitchen took it upon herself to not give me what I ordered…instead she threw 2 pieces of friend plantains that looked like they were fried in old grease. This is the 2nd and last time I let them do that to me. Service sucks!

Stopped by last week to give this place a try. My Haitian friends told me that the place is authentic and that the food is very good. I must concur because I’ve been back three times already and have tried the Légumes, Rice and Beans, Poule an Sos, Grio and Tasso Turkey, and everything has been absolutely delicious! Place is set up like a 50’s style American Diner but with a Hatian flare.The staff is very friendly and I’ve always been greeted with a warm welcome. La Belle Monique is now on my list of favorite restaurants in South Florida!
