Food was delicious. Carne-Guisada amply portioned. Pancakes full, light, and fluffy!! IMO, rice, to my taste was a little dry, but seasoned well beans. Chips and Salsa was mild for my tast. Small dining area, so plan accordingly during busy times. Give it a go!!

This post is about a month past due. We’re new to Abilene, so we’ve driven by this place never stopped. My son wants me to join him for a late lunch(1-2p). We decided to stop last min, 15min before closing, they close at 2p. The lady that happened to be outside invited us in, sat us at a table and brought out fresh chips and salsa. We ordered our food, it was nice and hot and fresh. The staff were all polite. Most places would have been rude and rushing us out the door since they were closing. Not here. The staff can out with their food say at a table and enjoyed their food must like we were. Very grateful for the awesome attitude they had well late customers. Give them a chance.

The food is horrible. I couldn’t even eat my enchilada’s with red sauce. It didnt’t even look like a sauce. It tasted more like red gun powder. The chips are to hard. I woul not recommend young children to eat since I almost choked on my chips. The carne gusada was not even a gravy like sauce. That was all we ate and will never return for this high priced restaurant.

We tried the new La Bella on Ambler today for lunch. They have only been open a few days. The dining room was full when we walked in but were seated quickly. The chips are fresh fried flour tortilla and the salsa is blended and brought great flavor and some heat. I had flautas ranchera and my wife had pupusas and said the curtido was on point. Everything was flavored well with a good level of spiciness. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Try it out if you are in the area! Not sure of their hours but they do close at 2PM for lunch…

La Bella has great food, friendly service, and a clean atmosphere.
We highly recommend the Guisada & Red Enchiladas. The in-house made chips and salsa are probably the best in Abilene that we’ve had thus far. The guacamole is a side item and not a dish or appetizer. However, it has the best flavor of any guacamole in abilene. I do wish they offered some appetizers and desserts on the menu. I think if they added the following, it would be 5/5 stars.
Add some appetizers like guacamole and chips, chips and queso, or queso flameado.
Add some desserts like sopapillas, churos, flan
While the restaurant has great food, friendly service, and a clean atmosphere, I do believe it could use some more decorations. The walls are plain, and the interior reminds me more of a cafeteria atmosphere than the sit-down restraunt due to the lack of decorations.

Went for lunch and it was a little busy! Service was okay, the food came out hot and had to wait on the torts? Fajitas were good and tasty. My enchiladas were good, the chicken was dry but, still good. I went for breakfast a couple days later and was not too impressed. The potatoes were dry, my guess sitting under heat lamp. The food came out cool and not hot. So it’s a coin toss?

I got the chorizo rancheros breakfast and it was delicious!! The chips and salsa were also good. The service was spectacular. Also got my food out quick. Definitely worth it

A bunch of egg shells in my burrito. I noticed the quality of the food has gone down a lot. There was a few times I didn’t tip on a take out order and ever since they have either been forgetting my salsa or egg shells in my burritos. I was telling everyone at the data center to come here but now I’ll be letting them know the truth about your restaurant

Stellar breakfast burritos. Waitress was so nice. Felt like family. Highly recommend bacon and potato breakfast burritos.
