This was my second visit to the delightful La Barrière, and will certainly not be my last! We opted for the menu du jour, at €14.50. This included a 3 course meal plus red wine and coffee. The food was fresh, delicious, superbly cooked, and copious. The crème brûlée was one of the very best I have ever eaten. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and professional. We ate outside, on the terrace, despite the close proximity to a main road, but the traffic sounds did not spoil our enjoyment in any way. There was plenty of parking available, and we arrived without a reservation, but were shown to a table at once. I recommend this restaurant very highly for a weekday lunch, and intend to visit again before the end of my holiday.
Edit, August 2024: now reopened under new management: I had an absolutely delicious meal here last week. The new managers are friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent: tasty, authentic and fantastic value for money.

Stopped for Sunday lunch. We had a very warm welcome from the friendly team. Lunch was really good – home cooked simple but super tasty food, and excellent value. The place was almost full, lots of locals, the sign of a good restaurant. Recommended if you are visiting the village
