One of the best Mexican Restaurant in between the best ️ mountains of Virginia. staff are very friendly ,polite and helpful. food taste was Great . they made veggie fajitas with jalapeño fry that was the best. This restaurant has good amount of settings

Great Mexican restaurant, minutes from the boat loading dock off the New River. After a long day of fishing, it was so relaxing to have a cold beer in the air conditioned room. The food was amazing, lots of choices, and big portion. Our waiter Raul was really friendly and experienced.

The food is ok. They more times than not, forget parts of the order, it’s never the same twice, the cheese sauce gets watered down often and the tortillas are hard, flour tasting and won’t ever open up without breaking apart when you get home. It’s local and there’s not many options for eating out. It’s turning into a bar and is very loud.

La Barranca Mexican Grill was a great find after long days on the AT. Enjoyed a superb lunch of ample serving of fajitas, fast pleasant service with well chosen beer list. Nice atmosphere in original art enhanced, open, well lit dining area. Fútbol on TVs and charming Latin music on speakers.

The food is always great here. The service is hit or miss… sometimes it’s great and sometimes it sucks. The great food typically outweighs any bad service we’ve ever gotten.

The paintings on the building and on the inside are wonderful. The hospitality was lacking; as the man that greeted us appeared to have been troubled, having been taken away from his football match on TV. He was not warm and welcoming. The bathroom had one stall that was clogged (I saw a staff member go in and do nothing about it).
