I recently visited La Barbirria in Beacon, NY, and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was top notch. Our server, Fabio, truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed.

The food was excellent everything was seasoned beautifully and cooked just right. One small note I gave was on the calamari,I mentioned I’d prefer it a little toastier, but even then, it was still very good. The rest of the meal was absolutely on point.

Great service, flavorful food, and a warm atmosphere make this place easy to recommend. Highly recommend La Barbirria and definitely ask for Fabio if he’s working!

Stopped by for a quick bite and we were pleasantly surprised with their delicious nachos platter (we added chicken as a protein), the fried calamari, and the Rosa Sangria and Coconut Rumchata Cocktail.
Very good service. Clean restaurant.

Big portions were enough for a shared meal for two.

Recommended.

Disappointed. Went here because of 4.3 . I’ve gone to many restaurants in many places and countries so I know what to look for. No nice ambiance. Food did not taste that great. No free salsa and nachos(as is customary with Mexican restaurants), no sides with entrée and it’s pricey! Worse, they automatically add 18% gratuity! Even worse, they charge 3% fees if you pay by credit card. Will not recommend.

Delicious!! I’ve been wanting to stop in for awhile now and I’m so glad that we did. Everything was delicious. We also ordered the guacamole but it was so good it didn’t stand a chance to even get a photo! Highly recommend.

Overall very good. Wait staff are friendly but could improve in being more organized. Requested multiple times and waited a long time for some non-food items. Maybe they are understaffed? It would be very helpful to indicate the spiciness of each dish (mild, medium or very spicy, etc.) because some dishes are simply too spicy for me personally.

Stopped in for brunch and it did not disappoint. The margaritas were delicious and generously poured. One is more than enough but if you plan to walk around, indulge in another. The chilaquiles were AMAZING!!!! The tortillas were fresh, the salsa verde nice and spicy to give the kick, eggs perfectly prepared and to top it off, the chorizo. *Chef’s kiss* My partner got the mixed eggs with chorizo, rice and beans which tasted homemade. The look of happiness could not compare. Ended with a coffee which was served in a beautiful cup – forgot to take a picture but highly recommend! Miriam was very attentive and sweet making my visit a wonderful experience. Thank you!

Mixed reviews. The server was impatient about combining tables for our group of five (despite the fact that the restaurant was empty) and then seemed dismissive of our questions. The woman who brought our meal was friendly and lighthearted. We enjoyed a few of our entrees but the enchiladas were not great and toward the end of my meal I found a bone in my enchilada. Overall, I was not impressed and am unlikely to return.

Update: best Mexican in Beacon! Loved all of our 3 kinds of tacos, fabulous rice and beans (only wish there had been more!), crispy maduros, and nice guacamole.
Update: also love the huarachas al pastor, pozole rojo soup, nachos, horchata, and fantastic chicken fajitas. Also liked the carne adobada I tried today.
Update: chicken tortilla soup fantastic . Best restaurant in town.

This is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. I liked it so much that I made a reservation for 15 people for next month!

The guacamole, salsa and chips were amazing.
The steak sopes were phenomenal.
The horchata felt tasty and fresh although it had too much ice.

The entire restaurant was clean and nicely decorated.
Service was excellent.
A lot of parking in the back area.
This place looks perfect to me!
