It was busy when we arrived but we were able to get seats before our food arrived. The serving are big. Breakfast items are great. The homemade ramen noodle soup with egg and fish is also awesome especially on a cold, rainy morning!

We got in at 8 am, ahead of the morning rush. Mostly locals there. We ordered the Baleine skillet, the veggie omelet with bacon, and the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. All came with a generous side of seasoned potatoes and all were very tasty. The others ordered guava nectar mimosas which were better than regular mimosas. This place has a complimentary coffee bar with iced water, hot and herbal teas, and drip coffee. They have a single unisex bathroom that is sparkling clean. The Baleine Cafe lived up to its rave reviews.

Amazing food and complimentary coffee and water. Biscuit and gravy and the Musher breakfast were very tasty.

Excellent food, but the bathroom was rather gross, which is always bothersome and disappointing; it leaves you wondering what the kitchen looks like. The side salad was pretty generous and the Widgeon sandwich was very tasty. It’s not cheap, but it’s probably one of the best food options on the Spit.

Not much of an atmosphere, really, but the food and service were superb. It’s a bit higher priced than we like to spend for breakfast so it’s a special treat when we do go, but it’s worth it. Delicious!

I cannot recommend this place enough! I just beat the breakfast rush before 9AM on a weekday and was able to snag a seat inside. That is honestly the only downside as it’s slightly stressful with table hawks…

HIGHLY recommend this place! Food was delicious and the service was very friendly! They also have gluten-free bread available upon request. Would recommend ordering the Salmon BTL-A, very tasty!

Breakfast omelet and burrito were both hot and tasty. Indoor and outdoor seating options were nice. Loved the extra little touches like fresh flowers on the table and complimentary water, coffee, cocoa and tea.

Good spot for breakfast and lunch. Salmon BLT was good- large piece of salmon… bigger than I expected! Inside was a bit hot and the outside tables are in the parking lot, which is a bummer.
