Nice coffee, but their croissant was just so so… it would’ve been better if it was more layered inside, a little more crunchy on the outside, and have a more buttery flavor.
The chocolatine was good though!

A very nice surprise! I happened to see this store when I was turning on a road. Figured I needed to check it out. Wondered how authentic it would be, and when I walked in I saw all the signs in handwritten French. And then I heard the staff speaking French to each other. That was quite promising! Bought various tartes, and I’ll be back for other things. The citron one was one of the best I’ve had anywhere in the world, and brought me right back to being in France. Absolutely fantastic!

What a nice little vacation in the midst of Madison. The Tartines are excellent. The baked goods are scrumptious. The salads are fresh with a delicious vinaigrette. Their black coffee impressed my wife!!
We found a new favorite place in Madison.

Went at a very crowded Saturday where the place was too full to get crepes. Got a quiche and a tart. The quiche was fine, though not stand out. The tart was tasty, but a bit more difficult to bite into than I’d like. Prices are good and good seemed fine, but a bit hit or miss for me.

This place has the most incredible french pasterie that you can find in the state, and it is consistently such! Tuly a gem, this is a must stop whenever I am in Madison/Middleton area. My vehicle now smells like fresh bread, and I cannot get enough! The sourdough Batard is simply the best!

Everything we’ve tried has been phenomenal, from bakery items to crepes (both the sweet and the savory versions)! Staff are always friendly and helpful, and service is very fast, even when it’s busy.
Can say with confidence that the Nutella + berries crepe, the ham & cheese crepe, and the bread pudding are some of the best things I’ve eaten recently

I’ve done a lot of “bakery hopping” in Madison and I can say with absolute certainty that you will not find a better, authentic croissant than you can at La Baguette. Don’t get be wrong, other places have fantastic ones as well, but La Baguette is just on another level. The rest of the baked goods we tried were fantastic as well.
Additionally, its located in a convenient place with easy access and lots of parking.
And above all, the service was fantastic and the atmosphere hit right.
Satisfy your baked goods craving and hit up La Baguette, you’re not going to regret it.

Very nice place. They have a large selection of Macarons. My chocolate croissant was excellent. I took some a loaf of pain au chocolate and it was fabulous too. The staff were very attentive.
