First time here this evening and will definitely be back! Chips & salsa brought immediately; I personally think the salsa could use some more heat but had very good flavor.
I had the carnitas and they had to be some of the best I’ve had around the country. Not fatty at all and very well made. If you like carnitas, I would definitely recommend ordering.
Also, I’m not 100% sure, but the corn tortillas also seemed to be homemade.

I have been a patron since 2013 and they are honestly the best place for Mexican food that I have ever been to. The salsa is always fresh and so flavorful. The place is clean and one time I asked to buy some of their fish because they had a very full tank. I raise those type of fish and I could not find any after moving here. They actually just gave me some for free. Even the fish have lived years in my tank! Service is always friendly and fast as well. My favorite is their carnitas. Perfectly cooked. I have eaten several things and all were great, though.

We used La Antigua as our wedding caterers at they were incredible!! From start to end, their team was wonderful to work with from the initial tasting to day-of. We got married at 10South in Janesville, and they were able to travel from MKE no problem. Citlali was always super communicative, and she crafted the menu just to how we liked it. We had La Antigua cater the cocktail hour appetizers, full dinner, coffee, dessert, and late-night snack. They even went out of their way to provide agua fresca for us. All in all, I would 100% recommend them for any wedding or special event!

Service is normally good, food is above average for being in Georgetown, Kentucky… Drinks are good and not overpriced, get the big house margarita on the rocks and tell them make it “fuerte”… Good to go

The food and service was great!! Atmosphere was nice, mixed crowd. Try the drink called the SEXY it’s delicious. The Guacamole Texan or Texicana was soo darn good. I loved the salsa because it wasn’t spicy. A + all across the board!!

Friendly staff, excellent customer service, and delicious food. It also has comfortable seatings. Buffet everyday 11:00 till 2:30 that includes yummy shrimp.

Service was incredibly casual. They have two doors and it’s difficult to tell which is the right door. When we came in, no one was there to seat us, so we went to the other door, where also no one was there to seat us. Finally we seated ourselves. The food, though, was really good. I can’t remember what the name was, but it was fantastic. Will definitely go again.

I have been going here for as long as I can remember. The food is great. Anytime I am out of town if I eat at another Mexican restaurant, I regret it and miss La Antigua. Not only is the food great but its is consistent too. Also, the atmosphere and the service. They treat me and my family, like family. What a blessing it is to have this place in my hometown.

This is one of several good Mexican food options in Georgetown. The special when we visited was the Quesabirria and it was awesome! Think pot roast flauta-ish, corn tortilla with au jus! Fantastic. The tacos also do not disappoint.
