I stopped by dressed for the occasion, and everything — from the lighting to the playlist to the service — matched the energy perfectly. You can post up with a drink, talk life, or just enjoy the city skyline doing its thing.
It’s refined without being pretentious — a rare mix in the Nashville scene. If you’re looking for a place that can shift from professional to personal without missing a beat, L27 is that spot.
This one did not. I asked if it had club soda in it and they offered to remake it. The main issue is that the server asked me to come watch the bartender remake it to ensure no club soda was used. I did not like that and felt that was a bit abrasive. The remade old fashioned was just ok, but the experience trumped the drink. Will not be back again, at least for the drinks.
I attended as part of a birthday party of twelve, and from the moment we were seated, our server (Talia) communicated that she had too many tables and would “do the best she could.” While transparency is appreciated, this set the tone for what felt like consistently limited attention to our party throughout the evening.
Our group had to be split into two tables, and service to both tables was noticeably slow and inconsistent. Drink refills were delayed, we had to request assistance from other staff regarding items such as hot towels, and overall responsiveness was lacking.
Given that our party spent approximately $1,300, we expected a higher standard of service and attentiveness. The experience left us feeling undervalued and, unfortunately, concerned that our party may have been treated differently than others in the restaurant.
This establishment has strong potential based on the food, but the service experience needs significant improvement to match the quality of the dining experience. I later found out Talia was new and I look forward to visiting again and giving her another chance.
The website said reservations were encouraged, but not mandatory. I did have reservations, but dinner took longer than planned and we arrived to the bar later than anticipated.
My guests and I were denied a cabana area stating that “you have to spend $500 or more to sit there “
I didn’t see this information on the website when choosing a place to stay.
I didn’t know how much we anticipated to spend, I’m sure we ended up spending that or more since it ended up being 7 guests. We all ate and had several drinks each while there, but I am not certain because I didn’t pay since it was my birthday.
None of the cabana seating was occupied the entire time we were there, which was til the bar closed.. we were there roughly 2.5 hours.
I thought that was pretty lame especially since the same friends I was with had been there the week prior and sat in the area with no issues, but If that’s the rules, then so be it.
I still had a fabulous time. The atmosphere is outstanding.
The view is amazing and the drinks and food were good as well. The bartender makes a lovely French 75.
I would still recommend this place, and I hope to come back soon and finally get my cabana seat
The menu is limited but seems to fulfill all palates. The prices are high, as you would expect from any rooftop lounge. The coffee was very expensive.
Overall a superb place to visit alone or with a group.
