This was my first time here. The service was outstanding, and the place is nice and comfy. The onion soup, the bread and the side of spinach and cheese were delicious, however my rib eye steak was not good. It was average, very dry and it came with some water maybe to try to hide the fact that it was overcooked, it also lacked flavor.

Went for a dining party and the service was great. The food came out at the same time. The drinks and entrees were good too. I had a NY strip I ordered medium but came out med rare unfortunately. It was kind of a tight squeeze walking through the dining area. Overall my experience was a very good one still.

L. Woods is a neighborhood Lettuce Entertain You favorite. I’ve always ordered the baby back ribs because they are awesome, but tonight they were out of them. So we ordered beef ribs. These ribs were massive in size and OMG delicious, crazy good!! My daughter ordered the pulled pork sandwich and coleslaw. Also, delicious! Servings tonight were generous in portions.

We have been to L. Woods many times, and we always enjoy the delicious food & service. We celebrated our two year wedding anniversary last night. The ribs were perfectly cooked, the Wedge Salad was tasty, the French Onion soup was on point, and the Old Fashioned was mixed just right. We will definitely be back.

Upon walking into the entryway, it’s an experience of inviting photo-covered walls, traditional host stand, with a full bar to the right, and a glorious dining room to the left. The dining room is surrounded by comfortable-looking center facing booths; not a bad seat in the house.

My family had Easter dinner here and we loved it! I had been wanting to check it out since before the pandemic and I’m so glad I finally did. The Midwest vibes are immaculate. I love the dim lighting and all of the decor. I can’t wait to return. My husband and I got the prime rib special and OMG the Mac and cheese was the best I’ve ever had- and I am a Mac and cheese connoisseur! I would go back just for that alone. I had an old fashioned and it was strong and tasty. A+ experience!

Outstanding meal as always! Steve and Adrian, the bartenders are phenomenal. I feel like I’m at Cheers whenever I go there…. I used to go to Gale Street Inn, but I prefer the ribs here… Great size and and great sauces to select from… Never dry! They’re sweet potatoes are to die for and their drinks are awesome. Five stars all the way. Not to mention lettuce Entertain You point system is unbelievable. This night we had a free meals for two people, lots of ribs, drinks and appetizers.
