Old time diner / restaurant layout. I loved it. The food came out super hot and they were busy obviously a very popular lunch spot I was there on a Tuesday at noon. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich and the beer battered fries. The Fry’s were definitely a candidate for best fries ever!
You think beer-battered would mean they’re just crazy covered in something and wacky crispy coated. Not the case lightly covered in something which made them uniquely and wonderfully crispy and they were cooked perfectly to a tan Brown.
I didn’t have room for dessert because I couldn’t finish the sandwich it was huge. Prices were good roughly 10 to 12 bucks a plate but per my experience definitely a value for the money.

What a wonderful little restaurant in a beautiful downtown! We stopped in coming through from the Springs. I got the double cheeseburger and hand cut fries, incredible. My wife got the hot beef open face sandwich, she loved it. Also try their cheesecakes! The raspberry was amazing! 45$ for 4 of us, not bad with dessert. Keep up the great work, we’ll be back next year!! Thanks again!

Just wow! I had no idea what to get, so at the recommendation of our server, i got The Chili Relleno and it was truly amazing.
My friend got the brisket and we both agreed it was some of the best brisket we’ve ever had at a restaurant! (Strong words from a texan )
The price was very cheap for the quality of food. They truly earned a 5 star review.

Amazing restaurant! Conveniently located on i-70, sure beats grabbing fast food. It was served really fast, and super fresh and tasty. We good the fried chicken. Yum!

Had the Friday special pork ribs. They were excellent. I would highly recommend. That being said, the biscuit I had with my meal had to be the best biscuit I’ve ever had. I really wanted to return the next morning for biscuits and gravy but we had to leave time prior to opening.
Also, excellent pricing. You don’t have to go into debt for a meal here!

Absolutely delicious! The lady at the he front desk of our hotel recommended L & T as good local food. She was absolutely right! Everyone in our family left full and happy. Our waitress recommended the chili rellenos, and I second that! Best I’ve ever had! My daughter inhaled her BBQ pork sandwich, I barely got a picture! The other three plates were attacked before pictures could be taken, but all dishes ordered were fresh, delicious, and just amazing!

They had a large group come in and asked if we still wanted to eat because it would take time. We stayed and not disappointed. Had the three piece chicken. Two sides, he had the homemade chicken rice soup and claw slaw. I had fried okra and side salad with Dorothy dressing. So good.

Stopped in Goodlands, KS for a quick bite. At the L&T Family Restaurant. We ordered taco salads —it was totally homemade—the tortilla was crispy and golden, the taco filling was flavorful and not what you get from a seasoning packet. The inside was just beautiful—exposed brick walls and ceiling tiles that looked like copper. This place was packed with local folks who stopped to chat with friends on their way out. My only regret is we don’t live closer!
