Friend service and great food. First time eating at L&S diner and I wonder what took me 30 years to go. Driven by it hundreds of times but wanted a good breakfast so I took my kids. Gave a lot of different items a try and everything exceeded my expectations. Diner was busy, cash only which I like. Reasonable prices and everything was made to order. Biscuits were delicious, oatmeal was hot and good with an old school charm. Garbage omelet was great regardless of the name. Kids had French toast and ate it all. My kids had grits for the first time, love me some grits! I would definitely go back. Lots of history since it opened in the 1940’s. Recommend going and I’ll be a returning guest in the near future.

Found this little diner on our way to NC. Home towny for sure, we were the only out of towners. Waitress knew all the others by name and greeted them accordingly. The food was great, we had the garbage plate omelet and my daughter and breakfast sandwhich on a biscuit. It all tasted great and was more the resonably priced. The waitress was kind and welcoming and cooked and waited on everyone like a boss. If we find our way to Harrisonburg VA again we will def be stopping. Thanks

A bin onto grill with bare hands, then just proceed to grab the spatula to continue cooking. Not being a pre Madonna. We waited 40 mins and food never even started cooking. We were actually happy about that. I do not recommend.

This is a gem of nostalgia and delicious cooking! Relax and enjoy the ambiance while you wait for your cooked-to-order meal. If it’s busy, it might take a while, so go when you’re not in a hurry.

I ordered 2 Eggs over Medium, Sausage, Fried Hard with Onions Potatoes and it was such a Delicious Breakfast!! I even Ordered a Biscuit with Fresh Chip Beef Gravy. Our Waitress was Very Kind. I haven’t been into the L&S since 2018 and Today made up for it, the food was so Good. I will be back More often.
