This place is absolutely delicious, it’s ran by the nicest people. I call when I’m leaving the house and order, it’s always ready when I get there. They also have the best canned beverages in the side fridge to the left. You have to ask for extra sauce or silverware. Soy sauce is available by a to go ramekin on the left counter to the cashier. Enjoy!

My husband went this afternoon with a friend the lady that took their order was extremely rude. My husband almost canceled their order. He asked for a cup for water and she wanted to charge him. She made the ugliest face expressions and was throwing things around. NEVER GOING BACK. Also the food wasn’t good the bbq chicken was burnt and they charge extra for sauce

Came straight here after getting off a long flight from Florida. We needed a Hawaiian food fix (I’m from Hilo, my hubby’s from California and we’ve lived in Florida for 7 years: There’s no Hawaiian food restaurants in Florida).
First time ordering the Lau Lau here and it was great! Good tender pork wrapped in ti leaves and steamed. Great smoky Lau Lau flavor. Plus chicken teriyaki, Kalua pork, the rice, macaroni salad, and strawberry guava juice were just as I remember them, perfect.
Wish we had an L&L in Florida just like this one.

The front lady had the worse attitude ever, she got my order wrong then I went to tell her and then was trying to tell me I owed her 22 cents. I couldn’t understand her because she barely spoke English which is fine..but don’t get mad at me and have a horrible attitude when I can’t understand you. You’re getting mad at me?? For you not being able to say 22 cents after I repeatedly kept saying I owe you 22 cents and she kept saying no. Also I didn’t have a way to pay only card and she got extremely upset over giving her 17 cents. I told her if she wants the money I can pay with card. Seriously what a horrible experience. Love the food but we’re never coming back here again.

I called to ask if they use sesame oil in their food and the man that answered the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful. He kept asking if this is for an order. I said my child has a severe Sesame allergy and I wanted to make sure that they do not use Sesame oil to cook the food. He said rudely over and over that he doesn’t know. I asked if he could ask the kitchen and he said no. He told me to come to the establishment and read it myself. Being in the restaurant industry it was crucial to know what ingredients we used due to patrons allergies. No one wanted to cause a person allergic reaction. They literally can get a lawsuit if someone has an allergic reaction that they could have prevented by knowing the ingredients.

The young man who works at night is very helpful and respectful. The older lady during the day is very rude and snappy and doesn’t listen to your full order before mashing buttons on the machine to charge me an arm and a leg. Tried to order and she was just plain rude.

I really like THIS particular L&L. The young man at the counter is always courteous and helpful. He allows substitutions and never makes you feel guilty for asking. The food is much better quality and taste compared to surrounding L&L’s. They take cash, credit, debit and Samsung Pay. This place is a staple and I am grateful that it is under new ownership.
