I ordered through UberEats so I cant talk on the atmosphere or service. However, as I hail from Hawaii, I can say that this particular L&L is better than most. I ordered the kalua pork and cabbage bowl and it was perfect. I noticed a few reviews talked about it being too smoky and salty, but thats how it’s supposed to be! You mix the pork in with the bland cabbage and rice, and each bite will be perfect. The cabbage still had a bite to it, the steamed rice was well cooked and not gummy. It was exactly what I wanted. Comfort in a bowl.

I heard of L & L Hawaiian Barbecue from a friend. I went there, they have a variety to order from. Service was excellent, got my food to go. Got home, there was enough to make two meals out of! I ordered bbq beef, ribs, potato salad, and cabbage! It was delicious! I’d recommend you to try it!

Adorable little Hawaiian restaurant. Menu had all my favorites but it was easy to choose the breakfast plate at 9am. The owner was so nice and welcoming too. Highly recommend the lilikoi lemonade too.

I had never had actual Hawaiian food before coming here. It was really hard for me to find a Hawaiian restaurant anywhere; even Atlanta, which is much more multicultural than Savannah, has hardly any! The woman working at this L&L told me that there is another L&L location or two in Atlanta, though, so I’ll be sure to keep an eye out. I was very much imp with this restaurant; I’ve heard good things about SPAM musubi and kālua pork, and now I can see they live up to the hype!

Louis and angel were absolutely The most kind gentleman I have ever Encountered with at the restaurant. We put in an order for DoorDash at 5:30 and it’s now 7 o’clock and I called the restaurant and they told us that our order was ready for pick up at 6:05 Anyways, they were so apologetic, even though it wasn’t their fault, it was DoorDash‘s fault. They were just very kind to me about the situation. The customer service from these two was top-tier

We had the Chicken Katsu Curry and Lau Lau & Kalua Pork Combo. I was a little disappointed that the Lau Lau was a little dry and the Mac Salad was not a tasty as it was the last couple of times I was here.
The service was friendly as usual and the atmosphere, as we dined in, was nice and comfortable, however the Hawaiian Reggae music was not my preference… it certainly doesn’t remind me of home.
All in all… not bad but not as great as the last time we dined in.

My husband and I tried this for the first time and are instant fans! We had the chicken katsu plate, kalua pork w/ cabbage bowl & a spam masubi. Everything was fantastic and the portion sizes were HUGE! Well worth the price. Nicole was the bees knees! She was helpful for newbies, fast service & all with a smile. They do breakfast too! I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.

My husband and I used to order from this specific chain all the time. This was definitely not the same experience.
The chicken katsu my husband ordered was flavorless and didn’t look anything like it used to look (see photo).
The bubble tea we received tasted like water with boba; No taro flavor at all.
Not to mention the pricing was outrageous. What was $12 in California a year ago, was $21 here today.
Super disappointed. We will not be returning.

This was my first time having Hawaiian. And honestly i can say every bite was utterly delicious. I tried their spicy lava chicken and it was delish. Sweet, tangy and then you had your light heat. It was great. Valerie was very informative about menu options. I would definitely recommend this place, and i will try different things on the menu. Also the drink you see in the below picture can only be found in Hawaii and it was good also.
