My favourite restaurant in Montpellier to date. Wonderfully fresh oysters and lightly fried anchovies to start. Soft squid with garlic and fennel grilled to perfection. This is the sort of local restaurant that I seek in any city. Unpretentious but great quality. First class friendly service.

Fish was really good, the place was well decorated and cosy. The server was really kind, explained everything. As I do not drink and do not like my food cooked with alcohol in it, he made it easier for me and tried to substitute everything that contained alcohol with something that I can have. We had a lovely time.

Recommended by the owner of Coldrip cafe as his favourite restaurant with friendly hosts, fresh from the market meal choices (i.e. depending on what is good and in season) and good wines all at reasonable prices.
That says it all. We had a great meal and enjoyed every dish, the wine, the dessert, the cheese and the hostess was lovely.
Well worth a 10 minute walk from the city centre to find an unhurried, authentic, local, gem of a restaurant.
Merci Beacoup et a bientôt

Small and intimate place, simple, but very good seafood, quality cuisine, and great service. Prices are pretty cheap for what you have, even the lobster is affordable to all!

I recommend this small and very nice place. We shared a platter of seafood. I especially loved the oysters from different places in France.

Brilliant! I took my parents; seafood is so fresh, and reasonably priced. We arrived at 7:30pm with no reservation and they were happy to accomodate. Super friendly service and they explained each menu item in English to us. A fabulous way to end our visit to Montpellier.

100% an amazing place! The atmosphere of the restaurants is so chilly and comfy. The food is incredible, the seafood is super fresh and cooked perfectly, plus theres a interesting choice of local wines. Lastly they speak a perfect english that its not so common over there. So if ure in montpellier, u know u have to go there.

This is one of the best seafood restaurants in Montpellier, with a fair price in a low-key, eclectic neighborhood. For those who abstain from crustaceans, there are a couple whole fish options (seabream, seabass) and a standard, albeit no less delicious, hot chevre salad. Arrive with a good appetite.
