Looking to support a LOCAL lunch business with a fun and clean atmosphere? Here it is! I’ve Been here 13 years and was just voted one of the 8 Best Hot Dog Places in Hampton Roads in the Va. Pilot which I’m very proud of. I have 4 different types of Hot Dogs to include the Famous Norfolk Dog and Nathans Foot long, All Beef Hot Sausage and a Smoked Kielbasa, Homemade Hot Dog Chili, Fresh pattied Burgers, Sandwiches w/in-house sliced deli-meats, homemade sweet chicken salad, Harrison’s vinegar based Carolina BBQ w/homemade Cole Slaw, and hand spun Blue Bell Milkshakes. Call Ahead at (757) 434-5674 and To Go orders are accepted and also can be ordered online on google. We’re open 10:30 am to 4 pm Monday thru Saturday.

I just went to La dogs for the first time the atmosphere the service and the food was so delicious I had the cheeseburger w/ fries and a milkshake. Probably the best I’ve have had in a long time.

We LOVE L.A. Dog! It’s almost a 20 minute drive and it’s worth it. If they were closer I’d go more often for sure!
We LOVE the atmosphere. The decor of various signs with witty expressions and quotes is so much fun to look at; I see something different every time I visit.
Their fries are cooked to perfection. The hot dogs, and sausages are really great and my son loves his bacon cheese burger. I also love their custom sauce available on every table.
My little happy feeling about this place?! THEIR ICE! The ice from the self serve soda and ice machine is THE BEST. The tiny balls of ice that crunche and fall apart when you bite…. I don’t know how else to describe it, but it’s my favorite and rare to find so I always great myself to a soda when I dine here.
We love to go with my parents and the kids; there is always something for everyone. It’s also a great place to just pop in and go by yourself. You don’t need someone to talk to because there is so much too look at all around you 🙂

I stumbled across this amazing restaurant today by accident. We were looking for a quick bite to eat. This restaurant is located in the Great Bridge Shopping Center a few shops down from Chillis. They have a very relaxed, family friendly atmosphere. It’s a seat yourself restaurant so go right on in and sit anywhere you like. They have awesome conversation pieces all over the walls that are very interesting and hilarious. The food was fresh to order. I ordered the club sandwich and it was delicious. I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend!

They serve all kinds of hot dogs and sides, even shakes and sandwiches. I ordered their ruff skin dogs (gives you that crunchy bite (all beef) and side of onion rings. You can order sauerkraut, mustard to come with your hotdog or their house sauce and ketchup are just fine condiments. You definitely know their onion rings are not frozen, made from scratch since you get the tip part of the sweet onion as well. I would have liked the batter to be a tad crunchier and with more texture but overall good.

My husband and I drove by and decided to check this place out. We are so glad we did because it was exactly what we were looking for. The owner was there and was as sweet as could be. The menu had so many options and the prices were perfect. They had dogs, sausages, burgers, sandwiches, milkshakes, sweet potato and regular fries, and she even offers a few beers. It’s really cute inside and decorated perfectly for the spot. We are definitely going to be returning.

First time here, last time here. We decided to check it out because the bridge was opening. I don’t know about the food but the service was terrible. Waitress took our order and I guess never put the ticket in. She walked past us a few times after that. We were more than patient, when I saw a group that came in well after us receiving their l orders I went up to the waitress who was by the register and asked to make our order to go. She then asked if I placed an order with her and where was I sitting. I pointed to the table with ours drinks. She went over to the cook and I guess realized she never gave them our order. She apologized but it didn’t really seem sincere. No real explanation of the issue. I offered to pay for our drinks and she actually accepted my money which I thought maybe she should have comped them since we waited over 30min because of her mistake and we never even got our food.

Environment was very welcoming and fun vibe. Neat and clean. Great service only reason for 4 stars is $price. 3 dogs fries and drink $18 before tip. 5 star on everything else.

Waitress took our order and never put it in, never came back to the table. We were basically invisible. And it wasn’t even busy. We were patient until we saw how fast later patrons got their food! Waste of an hour on a beautiful day. Won’t be back. She could have at least comped the sodas.
