What a great experience, this was our second time here and we will definitely be back! We loved our breakfast burrito and the red velvet muffin grilled was so yummy! Our server was so personable and you can tell she has a fun personality! Fun things to look at and cool items to purchase! Thank you for making our morning one to remember!

My wife and I haven’t been to LA Cafe in 15 yrs and that’s our loss. This little place is fantastic. Food was excellent, good customer service and the inside is pretty cute. The seating on the inside looked tight so we ate outside. The lemon blueberry pancakes were off the chain and the burrito was excellent. We’re going to add this to our regulars list. Highly recommended!

The coffee was good, but not very warm. The food was just ok. Our table was pretty dirty/sticky, & our service was ok also. We asked for water & a few napkins….never got napkins, & the water came when we were done eating & ready to leave. The atmosphere wasn’t for us. We might go back for coffee, but would get it to go.

This is one of my absolute favorite cafes. I love coming here. I highly recommend their jerk chicken sandwich, a black bean burger, or one of the breakfast items. My husband loves the chocolate chip pancakes!!! I can’t say enough good things about this cafe and their amazing employees.

Absolutely adore this place! The menu is full of tasty options with tons of vegetarian choices. I’ve been coming here since ’98, and even though it’s been a minute since my last visit the vibe is still as peaceful and chill as it always is. Super cool curios, books, games and vintage art. Artisans wares and music. Such a cool place to relax with or without a friend. Always up to grab a bite and a Matcha from this cute little cafe’.

It reminds me of my local coffee shop in Santa Monica ’87. Plus everyone is so nice and the food is great!

This place is great from top to bottom – the Raspberry Mocha has become a favorite and their food is top-notch too. It’s a struggle every time I go in to resist the gorgeous pastries. Early in 2022, L.A. Cafe permitted volunteers to use their parking lot for petitioning signatures. They’re heavily involved in the community, have a quirky welcoming retro atmosphere you can’t find anywhere else nearby.

A gem of a sit-down place to catchup with a friend or yourself. The ambience is reminiscent of a California hippy lifestyle – making it cozy and charming. The menu caters to mostly healthy selections [California, remember?] and a few non-healthy selections. The staff are friendly and the prices are fair. If you’re in the area and have a few hours to kill – pitch your surfboard at L.A. Cafe.
