This is a good news/bad news situation. The good news is they ship. The bad news is… They ship!
Seriously… I have already ordered four different batches of their chocolate chip cookies in the last few weeks…One for me and three as gifts. The bad news is simply that they are now just a little bit too easy for me to get! 🙂 Also… For this second order… I received them literally the day after I ordered them! The first order took a little longer, but they were still very fresh.
I have never tasted a better cookie in my life.
The gifts… I just received a cancer diagnosis and the medical care that I have already gotten has been beyond compare and I wanted to do something nice for two of my doctors and I thought there would be no better gifts than these cookies. I actually received a text message last night from one of the doctors telling me that they were unbelievable. Her son is a foodie who lives in New York and she’s already informed him of their location!
Clearly, I am a fan!

Beautiful place. They have the restaurant, a tea room and a chocolate shop all attached with different doors to enter for each. The chocolate shop has all handmade, delicious chocolates. They also make coffee, frappuccinos, hot chocolate and a bunch more goodies. They are always friendly and helpful. Place is always very clean every time I go in and is absolutely elegant looking place. They also make some chocolates with alcohol in them.. so cool! Each piece of chocolate is hand crafted and absolutely beautiful and delicious! I love how the proceeds from the elephant chocolates goes to saving the elephants❤

Update: It’s now January 21, 2026, I sent another email a couple of weeks ago. These people have never responded to calls or emails. Unbelievable.
For a few years I’ve placed an order at Christmas, a gift for a couple we know. They moved last year to a senior community. This year I placed the Burdick’s order as usual. I didn’t know that I didn’t have a portion of the shipping address required for delivery. UPS ended up returning the package to sender. I got the full shipping address from the couple and attempted to contact Burdick’s to let them know and have it reshipped. Happy to pay for the reshipment. I sent an email to customer service on December 15. After not getting a response, I called customer service on December 19. Polite person, she told me they had too many emails and most them were still unread at that time. She took my information and assured me someone would call me back. It’s now December 29 and I have not received a response. Totally understand the holidays are busy, but two weeks is more than enough time to respond to a customer. At this point I guess I paid for an order that will not be reshipped. Who knows. I won’t place another order.

Very unique bakery & chocolate shop in the area. I love bringing visiting friends to give them a taste of something special in NH and I enjoy going there early with a book. I appreciate the pricing, as it’s affordable to have a coffee and a selection of different pastries and desserts to try solo and with friends. Thanks for the wonderful service!

We’ve enjoyed coming down here a couple times now. We have tried a few different hot chocolate drinks with an added shot of espresso. So far the Venezuela has been my most favorite.

Single best cup of hot chocolate on the East Coast. Warm and mostly quiet cafe style environment. Excellent selection of chocolates, parfaits, and pastries. Price matches the quality of the chocolates.
