Reviews
Let’s talk about the star of the show: the quesatacos. Crispy, cheesy, juicy, and deeply satisfying—these tacos are the kind of food that makes you momentarily question every other taco you’ve ever had. Each one is griddled to golden perfection, with cheese that stretches just enough to make your inner child squeal with joy. The birria itself is ridiculously tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. It melts in your mouth like it’s been simmering for generations—and honestly, it probably has. The depth of flavor in their consommé is outrageous—rich, savory, and spiced just right. Dunking the tacos into that warm, meaty broth was borderline therapeutic.
The staff was friendly, fast, and clearly passionate about what they’re doing. You can tell they take pride in the food, and it shows on every plate. The portions are generous, the prices are more than fair, and the vibe is casual and inviting. Whether you’re a taco purist or a birria newbie, you’ll feel right at home here.
I’ve been chasing great birria tacos all over SoCal, and I can honestly say this is the best I’ve had. It’s one of those rare spots that you’ll immediately start planning your next visit to—possibly while you’re still chewing your last bite.
If you’re in Long Beach and not stopping by L.A. Autentica Birrieria, you’re doing it wrong. Five stars, easy.
