Honestly I wanted to give this place a higher rating. The decor and atmosphere are fun. The service was good. It’s just … the flavors were not to my taste. Got the Poke bowl. The sauces didn’t taste that great. And the shrimp was very overcooked and rubbery. My date agreed. He thought the sushi he got wasn’t bad, just “ok”.

I have to be honest: Kyushu Ramen in Manchester is probably the most disappointing Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to. The location is clean and the place looks fine, but that’s really where the positives end. Definitely not worth the money.
I ordered the miso ramen and my husband had a couple of maki rolls. The ingredients were poor and not fresh—the avocado was mushy, the rolls were flat, and the ramen… goodness. If someone says it tastes “bland,” that’s generous. It tasted like store‑bought chicken broth mixed with miso paste and a bouillon cube. I have a strong sense of taste, and this was honestly terrible. My husband and I couldn’t wait to get rid of the flavor. It was just soo bad, no wonder this place is empty on a lunch time. If anyone says it was good, try other Ramen places in Connecticut, they are far more better than this. You’d rather eat a costco hotdog than paying for this.

We decided to try this place. A pleasant surprise, we were quickly seated. The servers were quick to wait on you, and frequently checked in.
We ordered the xiaolong bun for an app, absolutely fantastic (came out fast). Also had the ramen. Was very good, you can order it however you want, different broths or meat and veggies. I would definitely go there again and do recommend that you try it!

What a delicious little spot, we had the fried spicy jalapeno poppers (crispy bomb) for an app and then several sushi rolls and beef thai ramen for our main. The sushi tastes fresh and flavorful and the broth is delicious! In celebration of their one year since opening, we got complementary milk teas. Thanks! We’ll be back!

10.10.25 my 1st time and I was surprised at how good the ramen soup and dumplings were. Lots of flavor, hot, spicy and perfect. It all paired perfectly with my wine. We were seated right away and there’s plenty of parking as this place is located across from DSW.

Overall great solid food, polite friendly people and love the indoor decor and relaxed environment. Recommended, both sushi and ramen was tasty fresh and seasoned well. Second trip also just as good highly recommended!

Wow did not expect this place to be so good but it totally shattered my expectations. Wasn’t super busy when I went but the food was still on point. Make your own ramen was the best thing to do. Also got a spicy crab roll and it was delicious. The sushi chef makes the rolls pretty quick and the ramen came out fast as well. Was awesome that they had your bill on this machine that they brought right to your table. I am definitely coming back.

Food was great, ramen broth little bland? But you can add soy or they have the spice section where you have options. Stuffed jalapeño’s amazing! Tempura spot on! Sorry didn’t try bowls or sushi but will next time time!
