We went here based on the reviews on this site and our expectations were definitely exceeded. The service was prompt and everyone was very friendly. The sushi rolls were excellent and really competitively priced. The rolls were between $7-9 for the special rolls. We really liked the spider roll but we’re really in to the eel sauce so perhaps just personal taste. After our meal the waitress asked us to keep our chopsticks because the chef had something special for us. The chef made us a whole other sushi roll which was exceptional. I was very happy with the entire experience and will definitely be going back.

I have been to some of the best Sushi restaurants in Tokyo, Osaka, New York City, Las Vegas and LA and I can honestly say that aside from some places in Tokyo, this is the best sushi I have had. Service was very prompt as well. I really don’t care about the Decor, I’ve had good sushi in Japan in places that were no bigger than a shoe closet. If you’re unlucky enough to catch them on a bad day the sushi may not be as good as I have tried to convey (though still pretty good) but catch them on a good day and WOW…

sushi is good but do NOT waste your money on the hibachi entrees. the whole experience was a flat-out disappointment and not worth it. the rice was a joke and served so far before the rest that it was gone by the time our whole set (four different couples, not together) got anything else because we were hungry. the lobster may have well been rubber bouncy balls- totally killed/overcooked- the steak was budget-cut, flavorless, the veggies seemed to have been dessert as they came so far after the steak/fish that we were full by then. and good thing we were as they were truly pathetic- 95% undercooked, flavorless zucchini chunks. the chef spilled as much sauce and food all over the counters and even our shoes as he seemed to get on the plates. service was way overly attentive (eight times, different servers asked my son if he wanted more sprite while his glass was half full and we said no 8 times,finally we said yes just hoping no one else would ask) as they were slow on a Fri. night, well, now you know why. don’t bother.
