This is not high end sushi nor do i expect it to be. But I was still pretty impressed with the quality each time. Good portions, good cuts, flavorful sushi rice. When I want to splurge and celebrate, it’s a pretty great way to do it.
The hibachi was really good – we tried the salmon and chicken. The menu had lots of different options including a sushi bar.
The atmosphere is clean, modern, and inviting. There are regular tables as well as a bar in addition to hibachi seating.
Was a good experience and is the place to go if you’re around looking for hibachi.
Last Friday night, my wife and I met our two children and their families at Kyushu Hibachi Steakhouse & Sushi for dinner — a lively group of about 12 people (6 adults and 6 kids under 5, though a few of us adults might have acted that way at times).
At first, we were a bit frustrated that the restaurant required our full party to arrive before seating us, especially since there’s usually a short wait before service begins anyway. However, once everyone arrived, things moved smoothly, and our evening turned out to be fantastic.
The staff was friendly and attentive, and once we were seated, the pace picked up. Drinks, soup, and salad came out quickly, and before long, our hibachi chef arrived, ready to entertain and cook up a feast.
If you’ve never experienced a hibachi dinner, you’re in for a treat. The rhythmic clanging of the chef’s tools — the spatula and meat fork — sounded like a drumbeat. He spun his utensils with flair, much to the delight of the grandkids. Soon came the fun cucumber toss challenge — the guys managed to catch theirs; the ladies… not so much!
Then came the fiery show — a burst of flame on the grill that caught everyone’s attention, especially the kids! The famous “onion volcano” followed, flaming high before the chef dove into cooking our meal. Between the laughter, the spectacle, and the wonderful food — salmon, steak, chicken, and all the fixings — everyone had a great time.
We were celebrating our daughter’s “29th-something” birthday, and it couldn’t have been a better evening for it.
Thank you, Kyushu Hibachi Steakhouse & Sushi, for a memorable night of food, fun, and family!
The hostesses refused to seat our party until everyone arrived. The hostesses were extremely rude & didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. The waiter was forgetful and brought the wrong drink, then didn’t want to bring the correct one.
Besides the waiters and waitresses, the chef was amazing.
He was fun and overall made it a great experience. The food was great (a bit salty though) and we all enjoyed the meal.
We all got the Hibachi dinners, received big portions. I got the filet mignon. The white sauce they give you to dip was AMAZING. It also came with a soup & salad. Soup wasn’t very flavorful, not the best. Very small bowl of salad Overall fun experience but don’t know if l’d recommend or come back.
