It’s such a beautiful restaurant! The atmosphere is so awesome. There’s a theme of honeycombs and you can even be seated in a honeycomb booth. The overall vibe isn’t formal but not too casual. It’s also clean and well ran. I enjoyed my time here and the food was all delicious. I tried boba and some appetizers and they were all fantastic! The price range I found ranged from $20-15 for main course meals and around $7-11 for appetizers. The boba also ranged from around $5-7. The decoration and aesthetic here is awesome and it makes the experience even more cool!

Recommended by a family relative, we tried Kyuramen. Surprised to see the restaurant located on South Park Mall grounds. We didn’t know what to order being our first time, so we went with a Combo B which came with Popcorn Chicken as appetiser, Sapporo Miso Ramen, & Tokyo Tonkotsu Shouyu Ramen as the main entree, with Matcha Pudding with Red Bean, & Japanese Cherry Blossom Jelly as dessert. We actually mixed and matched with spicy and non spicy ramen. All turned out better than expected. I also wanted to point out the atmosphere or the restaurant’s layout was one of the most unique features I’ve seen in Cleveland. The booth tables are inside hexagons and some have curtains which make it beneficial for privacy dining. Overall, Kyuramen is a great place and truly one of a kind. And if I may add, this is one of the better ramen places in Ohio (Second to Meshikou Ramen in Columbus).

The atmosphere is super pretty and unique. The appetizers were really good but the edamame ( green pod things) kinda tasted awkward. Everything else in the honeycomb was good. The skewers were amazing! The beef ramen really didn’t have a good flavor . The omurice tasted great and smelled so good. The fruit drinks are nice and fresh. Will come again but try different ramen.

Ramen was so good at this place. We had to wait a half hour or so to get in but it was worth it; appetizers were steamed buns, edamame and the deep fried wonton- the edamame was seasoned AMAZING. Drink selections were good, I got the lychee soju. Atmosphere was adorable, they had honeycomb seats, open tables and bar seating. Service was friendly with good suggestions

This place is extremely clean, unique in design. Love the atmosphere. The food is highly priced, although the ramen bowls were decent portions for the price. The service was fantastic until it came to pay. We had a large party, and it was a nightmare.
Would not recommend for large parties, but for a couple, if you like ramen you will enjoy this restaurant.

Update:
Thank you for your reply. My visit was on the 25th of July at the Strongsville location (I’m just catching up on my reviews now). At that time, the vegetarian ramen was served with a large tomato piece, which also appears in the menu photos I’ve posted. I’m not sure when the changes were made, but that was the presentation a few months ago. I’m glad to hear the recipe has since been updated, and I might give the new version a try in the near future.

Original review:
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere that reminded me of all the cute restaurants in Tokyo. The menu looks authentic to a Japanese ramen place, and some items were enjoyable — the tempura shrimp was good, and the teas had nice flavor, though definitely on the sweet side (I’d ask for less sugar next time, an option I might have missed). The chicken bao bun could have used more sauce but was overall good and tasted fresh. The biggest disappointment was the vegetarian ramen, which came with a large raw tomato and what seemed like undercooked large pieces of broccoli. The size and presentation made it difficult to eat with chopsticks and the standard ramen spoon, and it felt very out of place compared to ramen I’ve had in Japan. Overall, the atmosphere and some dishes were pleasant, but the food was mixed.

Lunch at Kyuramen & TBar – Strongsville Mall, Ohio ✨

My son found memorable dining spot Kyuramen & TBar at Strongsville Mall. This place truly impressed me and my family.

From the moment we stepped inside, the warm wooden décor and inviting atmosphere created the perfect setting for a cozy lunch. And then the food arrived… and everything went from good to unforgettable.

Ebi Fry Rice Pot
This dish immediately stole the spotlight — two giant, perfectly golden shrimp tempuras perched on top of a creamy, flavorful mushroom rice pot. The contrast between the crispy exterior and the tender shrimp inside was incredible. The rice underneath was rich, savory, and comforting.

Spicy Ramen, Kimchi Ramen & Black Garlic Ramen
Each ramen bowl had its own personality and depth.
• The spicy ramen came with a bold, aromatic broth and melt-in-your-mouth chashu.
• The kimchi ramen offered a bright, tangy kick that paired beautifully with the soft-boiled egg, sweet corn, and seaweed.
• The black garlic ramen was rich and smoky, with that unmistakable deep umami flavor that warms your soul.

A Sweet Surprise
To top it all off, we were given a free green tea pudding dessert — smooth, lightly sweet, and the perfect palate cleanser after such flavorful dishes. It was such a thoughtful gesture.

Exceptional Service
Not only was every dish excellent, but the staff were incredibly patient, kind, and friendly throughout our visit. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable.

If you’re in Strongsville Mall and craving authentic, beautifully crafted Japanese comfort food, Kyuramen & TBar should be at the top of your list. Highly recommended! ✨

Such a cute location and the food is delicious! Everything that we ate at our table of 5 people was delicious! The food came out as soon as it was finished so we had different dishes delivered every few minutes which was a nice way to eat through everything. The little honey comb benches and private dining area are a great way to create a more intimate dining experience with a group.
Our complaints are that the Tbar had a lot of orders in so we didn’t get our drinks until after we had finished eating, and one of the entrees didn’t show up until after that- we had all finished and they were clearing the table when it finally arrived. They did the entire omurice presentation, and then we had to wait a few more minutes for the pork for the dish to arrrive.
Overall the flavors are good, and there are good options for everyone.

We think this place is a lil bit overrated and pricey. All food reviewers need to be more honest please (Tiktokers, Facebookers, etc ). The foods overall are okay 2.75/5. Total we paid ~61$ ( not including tips yet). Not worth the price tho. The omelet over rice was not impressive at all. Like just fried eggs over normal fried rice; they just made the fried egg more presentable over the rice bed. The sauce is salty too. The ramen is okay. Not wow us. We’ve tried so many ramen at other places and this place is 2.5/5 compared to others tbh . The combination appetizer dish is 3/5. Well we are not coming back to this!

I’m still giving 5/5 as a supporter ‘cuz your reply to my review is too nice! Thank you for serving us. Wish you succeed in everything you do and change your foods to be less salty and delicious

You need to go here. The fact the reviews aren’t 5 stars in mind blowing. Food has amazing flavor, we’ve had the ramen, tried all the starters (lobster salad rolls are our fav) and I especially love the skewers of meat and veggies that are seasoned perfectly . Service is fast atmosphere feels authentic Japanese. Go go go!
