We’ve been coming to Kyuramen for years and it never disappoints! The ramen is always fresh and delicious, the service is fast, and we love the cozy private booths. Some of our faves are the curry ramen, katsuobushi pork ramen, and the tonkatsu ramen. The apps are great too. Def one of our fave ramen spots!!

Very authentic experience, my husband has experience in Japan and was very pleased. We love the quiet atmosphere and the very kind staff. The food was amazing we had the spicy pork ramen 2 chili pepper which was a flavorful but mild spice level which I appreciated. My husband had curry tonkatsu, which he wants to note that while curry is a strong flavor it did not over power the other flavors at play and was well balanced. We shared the takoyaki which I always love, and the cherry blossom jelly which was a great way to end our meal. The Thai tea is a must!

This spot serves excellent ramen and standout appetizers. The broth was incredibly flavorful, rich, and comforting — exactly what you want from a good bowl of ramen. The small plates were just as impressive, fresh and perfectly seasoned. It’s definitely a great place to stop for a satisfying meal, especially when traveling to or from Atlantic City. I’d happily come back again.

Great place! After this, I’m looking forward to trying their other locations.

PROS:
– The atmosphere felt more authentic, with groups being seated in individual rooms.
– The table setup was very neat and organized. They had extra napkins in a wooden holder and some extra toppings in jars.
– Service was very prompt!
– Food was great! We ordered the pork bao buns, pork gyoza dumplings, and veggie spring rolls.
– The ‘amazing lemonade’ was really refreshing, since it was mixed with cucumber.

CON:
– They had an online menu and a lot of the stuff featured there wasn’t available in-store. Really disappointing because it would have been great to order the teriyaki rice burger or omurice. But maybe another location might have them!

Went during the off- season and the food was still fantastic. Tried the fried tofu for the first time and fell in love.. and I’m not a tofu guy. Ramen was on point as expected and the bao buns and Thai tea were a very nice surprise. My only gripe is that there was no music playing, which for me makes a big difference, but I won’t fault them for something like that. Still highly recommended!

Ordered take out late on Wednesday night .. Like around 8:21 PM they took my order.. They closed at nine and just said make sure I’m here by nine. I got there like right at nine because I had to come across the bridge.. Tired of everything locally and didn’t mind the 10 minute drive to go pick up some new food.. I just got one order of pork belly tonkatsu Ramen , as I was feeling kind of sick and I wanted some rich broth/chewy noodles to fill me up.. Sometimes pork belly can be overly fatty, but this was absolutely delicious, melted in your mouth rather than stringing up like grizzle.. Everything about it was so delicious. Will definitely be going back, Especially because it’s pretty much like cheaper than going to the diner at At this point (20$+2$ tip.. ) I’ve literally paid more at McDonald’s and diners

The food and atmosphere were top tier! Loved the call buzzer feature and the private booths. This is a great restaurant and a welcome addition to Surf City! P.S. Sorry for posting my half eaten Ramen, it was so good I forgot to take a picture of it fresh.

Decent looking place but service could have been better. I was asking veggie ramen with pork broth rather than veggie broth, most of the places accomodate that simple request, but not at Kayuramen LBI place. And person who took order was like, we cannot do any changes in item, all we can do is just add. Anyways, when we ask for no ice in bubble tea, person was lune we can make it with less ice but not with no ice. Thats so weird, that this place has all these rules where other ramen place accomodate easily and even if they dont want to accomodate but you can say such things with respect. Anyways ramen was okay and due to limited option, this place is one of those limited choices. Food is expensive and less quantity wise as well.

We ate lunch here today. The place is unassuming…just a small building with a view of the kitchen as you walk in. We saw only a couple of tables until we were escorted further in where booths are completely separated from one another by both walls and privacy curtains.

The menu was presented visually so you fully understood what you were getting, though the list of ingredients were identical in a few dishes which prompted questions about why they were separate items (it all comes down to the broth, it seems).

The food came out piping hot and was absolutely delicious. I think I gobbled mine down, even with my amateur-at-best use of chopsticks, before it even cooled – and the portion wasn’t small. I found myself spooning up as much of the broth as I could once all the noodles, meat, egg and veggies were gone. Drinks were tasty – the “Amazing Lemonade” had slivers of cucumber and a ton of flavor while one of our group enjoyed a passion fruit tea white chunks of passion fruit. He also ordered the combo so it came with a very tasty pork belly bao bun.

Dessert was equally good. The combo came with a fruity jelly (forgetting the fruit at the moment) and we took home an Oreo Mochi ring.

We look forward to going back again (and again)!

The food was good and staff was attentive. Seating and service was very quick. The fried oyster appetizer had plump juicy oysters that were coated in panko and fried to golden perfection. The curry ramen we ordered tasted like the Golden Curry japanese curry mix that you can buy at an Asian grocery store. Not a bad flavor, just an observation. We had tonkatsu with the ramen that was also breaded in panko and fried golden. Tasty, tender, and juicy but it did have a tiny bit of gristle. The only disappointment was dessert. We ordered mochi donuts to go and they were dense and soggy with the glaze sliding off the top. We’ve had mochi donuts here before that were delightfully light yet chewy with a great texture. The ones we got tonight were dense like actual mochi and wet. Not the best batch tonight. I hope this was just a one-off and not a sign of quality control for the future.
