From the moment you walk in, the warm wood interiors and cozy Japanese aesthetic set the tone for a great experience. Everything feels intentional, from the plating to the pacing of the meal, it’s the kind of place that makes dining feel special without being pretentious.

The food is outstanding. The ramen broths are rich, deeply flavorful, and clearly simmered with care. The chashu pork is melt-in-your-mouth tender, the noodles have the perfect bite, and the soft-boiled eggs are flawless. We also tried several small plates and baos, and every single one was beautifully presented and delicious—crispy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The Japanese fries was also a hit.

Dessert was just as memorable. We had the chilled cherry blossom jelly dessert which was light, refreshing, and a perfect way to end the meal. We also tried the matcha pudding which was creamy and well balanced.

Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient without feeling rushed. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they serve. We particularly like the seating options – inside a honeycomb booth, private curtained booth, or in the open dining area. This time we had the curtained booth and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Kyuramen Falls Church delivers on flavor, atmosphere, and consistency. A fun option for ramen fans or just a bunch of friends looking for a great dining spot. A place that’s absolutely worth a visit…and a repeat visit at that.

there are better Japanese ramen places in this area

tldr: food took a long time, food does not match the pictures in the menu, tasted mid

we got the new beef ramen, spicy tonkatsu (not in pics) chicken curry katsu, and pork katsu w omurice.

1. the ramens arrived first, then maybe 7 min for the chicken katsu, and another 5 min for pork notice (felt longer)
2. just look at the pics for the food don’t look at pics on the menu
3. the food is so mid. the chicken katsu plate is mid to bad. unseasoned popcorn chicken bland tasting chicken katsu with some steamed broccoli. ramens were ok. there wasn’t enough broth. broth to noodle ratio was off. and the matcha pudding, came with like a tbsp or two of milk. interesting choice but the pudding itself was actually quite good. overall definitely overpriced for what u get
4. we were kind of pissed off by the family behind us, the kids kicking the seats constantly even though we told the worker and the worker told them to kindly not do that so maybe that ruined the experience for us

this place was hyped for the interior and I was so excited to try it and now I’m glad I did so I can not come back

I had high expectations of this place due to the reviews and the photos but unfortunately it’s all glitter and no substance. I went there on lunch time on weekend but it wasn’t busy (which was first red flag) and the servers were courteous at first but then barely pays attention to you and I had to remind them multiple times to get my orders right. The food came out relatively quick and it looks good but there was almost no flavor. I had to put the shichimi to enhance the flavor. I wish there was garlic or salt. The katsu was seasoned but because all of the sauce was needed for the omurice, I had to dip the katsu into curry/egg mix and it wasn’t great. After paying for the meal, I had to wait over 5 min for premade desert (Sakura jelly) which was the best of the meal. It was not too sweet and refreshing.
To be honest, I was about to come back here as a potential date spot but due to all these negatives, I cannot recommend it unless the company fix these issues.

Me and my husband love ramen and Kyuramen is fantastic. Such a cozy place. We’ve visited twice now however I wish we could go more, but it’s a bit far from home, but it’s worth the drive. We never have to wait long for the food and they’re delicious! even just writing this review making me crave some more.

Lovely decor here! I think Kyuramen stands out when it comes to their decorations and how they have seating shaped like a honeycomb.

Parking is free at the Founders Row Parking Garage if you use the kyuramen validation code located near their entrance.

We came on a Friday around lunchtime and there were few customers around so we got seated quickly. The Takoyaki Octopus Balls were flavorful and freshly made. My Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen with white garlic tasted alright. The chasu and eggs in it were tasty, but after finishing those pieces, the rest of the ramen tasted more bland. I’d get the ramen with black garlic next time to see if it has more flavor. A cute thing they do at the moment is have a message at the bottom of the ramen bowl where you get a chance to win free food.

It’s a great spot if you’re looking for a beautiful atmosphere and a pretty bowl of food, but if you’re prioritizing a complex, high-quality broth, it might fall a little short. Great for photos, but just average for foodies.”

And it was fun to sit higher spot dinning table. Nice interior design.

We did the dinner for two and everything we tried we were saying “wow that’s so good!” I’m glad we tried some new flavors, the meat was so soft, the broth was homemade and delicious. Will definitely be back here every time we are in the area. And the parking garage is free if you use their discount code

First off the design of this place is just so on point. An architectural masterpiece. The private ‘rooms’, the honeycomb seating booths, plenty of bar and open seating and great natural lighting.

The service is quick and attentive and the food came very quickly.

The ramen itself was pretty solid, some of the better ramen I’ve had in the area but the portion for price ratio could be better. Definitely wish servings were just a little bit bigger for the $16-18+ per bowl. Overall though this place is definitely on the list of places to come back to.

It wasn’t busy when we came for late lunch. We went all out and ordered a bunch of different things. Kids love the popcorn chicken. Purple potatoes fries were good too. The omurice came lukewarm, was expecting somewhat hot food but not a big deal. Ramen was good, rich broth and ton of toppings. Can probably skip the yakitori, not really for someone with weak jaw. If all food we tried here, ramen is our favorite!
