To be honest, it was MEH at best. My shrimp poboy was really good. It was packed full of goot seasoned fried shrimp but the fries were room temperature and zero flavor to them. My wife’s salad had brown lettuce in it and the salad was pathetic, especially for a fairly expensive restaurant. My wife’s shrimp were mushy like they were cooked earlier and just warmed up. Her twice baked potato looked and tasted like it was twice baked twice the day before. Our server was sitting down talking and was faced away from us so she wasn’t very attentive. She was like the food, just ok. Probably wont be back or recommend.

The hype from reviews was such a let down. The appetizer, fried mushrooms were sitting in a pool of grease. The ribeyes we ordered were suppose to be med rare..we received well done. Especially from a restaurant with smatass comments detailing how dry a well done steak is on the menu.

I had not been to Kyrles in 18 years, as the quality and gone down so much and the prices weren’t reasonable. However, last night, my wife and I went there for dinner and it was 100% across the board. Our server was great, the food was excellent and plentiful, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing (thumbs up on the remodel, btw).
I’d happily recommend Kyrles to anyone who asks, and look forward to returning soon.

Pleasantly surprised. We were in the area at the local casino. We were looking for a good place to have dinner. We did a google search and this place came up so we went there and were not disappointed. The food was great the service was phenomenal. I had the fish platter and the wife had the seafood platter. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good restaurant and good food. We didn’t try the steaks but we heard that they were the best in the area. Get there early because this place fills up fast

First off I’ve been going to Kyrles to eat since I was just a little girl. I wanted to take my mom out to eat a good meal. We got there and waited to be seated. 1st off I was skipped and they sat another group before me. I should’ve took that as a cue to leave but no I was set on a good steak and my mom having a good meal. We ordered the food came out in 10 minutes. We then started eating. I noticed something didn’t taste right. So I asked my mom and she said, “hers didn’t taste right either”! So I asked my waiter if they could please fix it. This BIG man with a glass eye comes out of the kitchen and says, “medium rare is gonna be burnt like that over a fire”. The food tasted completely burnt you couldn’t mask the burnt flavor with ketchup or A1. He says he can fix 1 but he’s not going to prepare 2 steaks again. Insinuating that we just wanted to skip out on our bill. I have never done that before and neither did I want a discount I just wanted it fixed correctly. There was a young man eating chicken and the chicken was over cooked. They don’t know what they are doing in there. The food is not of the same quality anymore. I paid $68 for a meal I didn’t even eat nor enjoy. I could’ve just ate a burnt log and had a better chance at enjoying it. THESE REVIEWS ARE BOUGHT, FAMILY, just people that don’t know good cooking. Excellent food! Service was also great. Our entrees were brought out to us so quickly we had barely finished our salads. We ordered the crab cakes appetizer. 2 huge crab cakes and they were delicious. Also had the crawfish Étouffée and burger with fries. Excellent! The burger is HUGE! The place is a bit off the beaten path but don’t let that stop you from eating here.

Wonderful food, great service! Went on a Thursday night a little slow but picked up before we left. My only complaint was my steak, ordered the Ladies Cut Sirloin, cooked perfect but, had a large amount of fat. Will definitely be going back.

Family of 8 eating together for our Mom’s birthday…could not have picked a better restaurant for the occasion. The company was excellent and so was the food…I also have to say our waitress was superb. She didn’t miss a beat. Food came out at the same time all 8 plates. Chef was outstanding on the cooking…I give it a 10+
