The portions are generous, and the owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. You truly get great value for your money, and the food is always delicious. I genuinely enjoy visiting this place. Please remember that the owners are elderly and speak English as their second language, so their communication might sometimes come across as curt. Keep in mind that they are still learning, just like many of us, and their kindness shines through.

This was my first visit and I was very unhappy with the food! It was cold, chicken and rice were hard, like it was cooked a day or two ago. At first I thought oh wow that was quick service, I then realized it was quick because it had obviously been sitting there for a while. I won’t be back, very disappointed!

Was a little anxious to try this spot as the reviews were a mixed bag, but I’m real glad I did. Pick up order was ready quickly, and super tasty food- love the way they prepare the cabbage, chicken had a great char and gyozas were perfectly crisp. Yakisoba had more veggies than other restaurants around the area. The lady was very nice on the phone and in person (and I ordered close to 7pm). I think anybody with negative comments about her had to of been rude first. They have a couple of tables for seating and a good drink selection including Hawaiian Sun juices. Give them a try and be nice to the lady lol!

Food was awful I ordered a spicy chicken teriyaki and the chicken was old and the rice was awful. I called the lady she just said ok and hung up stay away.

Food is great. Love it very much. We always order to-go, we never eat in. The phone service is rude and short. They don’t ever take a to-go phone order after 7pm on a regular weekday. Just say the restaurant closes at 7pm. Google says 7:30. Get everyone excited for the best Chicken Katsu in the town and then say “No! We’re closed!” At 7:10pm. Lame…

I might be a little biased but I’ve been coming here for well over a decade. Good food, good portion sizes and decent prices. The staff are pretty friendly and they recognize regulars.

I have been in here many times and the food is always excellent! The price is not bad either. As far as value goes you could pay just as much at a burger joint for a meal, but with Kyoto Teriyaki, you enough for at least the next day as well.
It is a good place, but I don’t think they do dining in there any more, but you sure can get it to go!
I really recommend this place especially if you are into oriental food.

Pretty much just one of your standard teriyaki places in the Seattle area. Service wasn’t bad, prices weren’t bad and the portions were good but there wasn’t anything special that would make me recommend this place over the loads of other options out there for teriyaki.

Just walked in to order some food and asked a simple question about the menu and was greeted with attitude and a grimace on her face. At that point, I knew something was going to happen to my food if I ordered from there. Definitely will not come here again and make sure everyone from my company doesn’t as well…
