I went to this sushi restaurant for a solo dinner the other night, hoping for a nice, relaxing evening to wind down. The service was very nice. The wait staff were extremely kind and attentive, which I really appreciated. However, the atmosphere was not what I expected. There were several very loud children running around and a crying baby for most of my meal. It made it hard to relax and enjoy the evening. I understand that can happen in family friendly places, and it probably is not always like that, but on my first visit it just was not much fun.

As for the food, it was disappointing for sushi. The sashimi was kind of bland and did not have that fresh, flavorful fish taste you expect. The sushi rolls were mediocre overall. I was surprised that the salmon on one piece had been lightly torched, leaving it half cooked and in that weird temperature danger zone. It was very off putting. The rice itself was well done, but the fish just lacked flavor. I also ordered one special roll, and honestly it was not good at all. There was a completely off flavor with the fish, not in a good way and I could not finish it.

I attached a photo, and you can see the color change on the salmon that shows it was partially cooked. I would say skip the raw or lightly prepared fish here and maybe try the steak or something fully cooked instead. Other menu items might be better. For sushi though, I will not come back. Three stars at best.

Wonderful experience. Staff was amazing, this visit was purely fantastic. They were so accommodating and made us feel welcomed. Our chef was a delight. recommend 5/5 .

Had the Hibachi grill of course. We indulged in the Steak and Shrimp, Chicken and Shrimp. They made a special accommodation for us. Deep frying a specific Sushi Roll. Chefs kiss.
Hope your experience is as good as ours.

This was our favorite restaurant to go for our dates when we lived close by in Union Gap. Today we went back for the first time since we moved two years ago and I’m glad to say that the food is still great and the service is still excellent. Really friendly and personable staff.

The best place for a great dinner solo or with friends. Perfect for celebrations. Or just to fill your belly with some well prepared and flavorful food. Hibachi or any other dish you can’t go wrong about. The the option to enjoy the Hibachi at the grill or in a more intimate setting you can’t go wrong. And the price is some of the best priced Hibachi I’ve gotten to visit.

I came here with my wife last Friday, March 8th, which was our 22nd anniversary. My wife has been here a few times for work so she was already familiar with the restaurant. This was my first time. We were seated right away. We got two drinks, an appetizer and two entrees. The drinks were some of the best I’ve had. The appetizer and the entrees were so delicious! This was my first time having sushi and I was not disappointed! Thank you, Kyoto’s, for a memorable anniversary, and thank you, Lala, for the amazing service! We had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back!

Normally me and my girlfriend love this place but unfortunately the last time we went we waited almost 30 minutes for her food come out which is fine but it came out totally wrong. The salmon was very fishy and soggy. We just wanted it taken off the bill so we could go home but the manager refused to take it off of the bill and was super aggressive towards us. He essentially forced us to wait for a whole nother order of salmon that we just took to go.

The best Japanese restaurant in a foreign country, at least for me. Even if you had to ask me first for my ID before giving me my draft beer (I’m 34 btw, thanks to my Asian genes), it’s worth it. Me and my family keeps on coming back here.

Went out for a birthday dinner a few months ago and again today. Quickly seated. Friendly and courteous service. Every item ordered was prepared well and tasted good. Easy parking, paved. Multiple booth, bar, and group seating. High chairs. Large menu/selection. Alcoholic drinks. Hibachi.

We love this place, especially going back to the hibachi grill. It is our definite go-to place for special occasions. In fact, we’re going to be going there again next week and we were just there last week. Please note with groups of five or larger they pre-charge her gratuity to the bill. So if you’re not paying attention you may tend to tip additional. That’s the only thing that I wasn’t happy about.

This place was rated well so we gave it a shot. We were highly disappointed. I think the pictures speak for themselves. We ordered a chicken fried rice and a deep fried California roll. The texture of the rice was great, but is this seriously what we get for $15.95? The California roll was not deep fried by any means either, it’s pale color proves this. We ended up recooking our food after opening it, upon delivery. We added some veggies to the rice and fried the sushi. Pictures are of before and after our own edits to the dishes. Long story short, we will not be ordering from here again.
