The food here was pretty good, especially for being a place that is an all you can eat restaurant. All the sushi rolls and appetizers we’ve ordered from here tasted great and came out fairly quickly.
So why the one star review? Well, one of the waitress that works here thought it was somehow appropriate to demand my partner and I to tip her. Never in my time eating at any restaurant have I ever experienced such disrespectful behavior from someone like that. And even after leaving a tip, she proceeded to make several rude comments about how “we were being cheap by not tipping when she asked.”
After how poor of an experience I had with Kyoto over how purely disrespectful and unprofessional their server was towards myself and my partner, I will never be returning to eat here again.

I love this place. When it comes to sushi I’m like a bottomless pit. A normal Japanese sushi place will charge per plate then I’m bankrupt. A Chinese buffett doesn’t serve the japanese standard of sushi. This place is the best of both worlds during lunch. All you can eat and affordable. Also, its much easier to converse with people when you don’t need to get up every 10min to the buffett.
Once I came during dinner and they have more variety and specialty items so it’s still worth the price. Waiters have always been polite and attentive.

Absolutely loved the food here. It’s now on my top 5 places to go. We had the tempura roll, scallops, beef Don, Ramen and so much more. Had a group of 10 called ahead for reservation.

It’s an amazing place!! Staff is very polite and attentive, they take suggestions preety well!! Now Talking about food , so it was served fresh and sizzling hot!! Sushi rice wasn’t mushy nor dry. They ran out of scallops, deep fried tofu and fried calamari. I was a little disappointed because it’s a restaurant and they should have all the ingredients for all the dishes. I came within hour after it opened. They could’ve told me they ran out when I ordered so I can go somewhere else to eat. Instead the some food was brought out then I was told what I wanted was out of stock.
Anyways it’s a part of luck, happens with anyone otherwise it was nice experience!! Love it

Ordered a sushi roll, which was midiocre, then had the steak and chicken habachi, which both meats were overcooked, had no flavor, and extremely chewy. Would not recommend. Service was okay, I think our server was new. Atmosphere was okay, very busy, lots of families so it was somewhat messy, but understandable.
