Took my parents out for dinner here to celebrate my promotion. Waiter never spoke to me and spoke to my parents only. I believe a little conversing with customers isnt too harmful but some personal things like your beliefs should be kept in private and not thrown at my poor old parents the whole time. Took 45+ minutes to bring food out. Sushi was okay. Waiter got too distracted I guess and forgot our appetizers and blamed me when I asked about it. Waiter talked more about his personal life than serving us. Checked receipt and waiter charged me twice for appetizers they forgot about. The bad experience made me sick and did not want to cause a scene. So I paid and tipped to get out of there ASAP without even receiving my printed receipt. My family and I will not be returning.
I get it. We are all human and have those forgetful days. But all we can do is do better. Thanks.

May 2025 – came here with the family to celebrate mother’s Day for my wife a week later. She had to work so this was perfect to come next week. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is very nice inside and there are many hibachi setups. Our chef did a great job with the food and entertainment. They do have a bar on the opposite side of the building with other tables. They have TVs and we think they have a porch. It’s big enough for enough tables and faces hall road. My girls have birthdays in August and September and want to come back. Overall, a good place to try and the food was good.

Meh. Listen…if you’re coming here expecting a hibachi experience that’s any different from any other hibachi restaurant, you’re going to be disappointed. It’s the same boring antics. The choo-choo onion, the food flip in your mouth, the fire dragon, the clanging of the utensils. Been there, done that. It’s hibachi 101. The food, while tasting fine, is drenched in oil and butter (another hibachi staple). Seriously…too much oil and butter. The noodles, soup, and salad are simply mediocre. Harmlessly mediocre. As for value, forget it. Taking into consideration the high price of eating out these days, feeding 5 for $200 might not seem terrible but considering only 1 person had a soft drink, 4 had water, and only 2 had steak with their meal, it’s kind of steep. Throw in a mandatory 18% gratuity for no actual waiter or waitress service and it’s simply not worth it. I can’t comment on their sushi or other menu items but as far as hibachi goes, it’s a tired act. One and done for me.

Im gonna keep it short & sweet. Im so happy to have finally gotten a chance to visit the newest location. First Impressions. A mirror to their other location in both hospitality & flavors. No small feat when branching out, take a bow.
My choice for my Birthday dinner. Sushi, ginger dressed salads, table side fried rice, delicious noodles, flying zucchini, Saki sprinklers, onion volcanos, lots of laughs, lemon butter shrimp. What is not to love?
I’m no stranger to Hibachi, but tonight’s dinner was a young mans first at the table, enjoying his experience with his parents & grandparents. A truly special moment in the food industry.
I have less than a dozen restaurants I can recommend, Kyoto is time tested & this guy approves. Take the family, take a date, not sure…… take a chance.

My family and I always eat at this place and we do like it and enjoy the food. But today we were so disappointed, When we were leaving, they stopped at us and told us that the waiter forgot to charge us the extra charge for our kid noodle. Which was only $5 ( what she said ). First that wasn’t our fault, second they should have let it go because it’s not a big deal. We will think about going to this place again !!!!!

My boyfriend and I are OBSESSED with this location! Their hibachi experience is top notch, their sushi is amazing (our favorite is the Da Bomb roll, it’s SO GOOD), and we always get quick service while we are here. The experience varies slightly depending on which waiter and hibachi chef you get, but in the few times we have gone, the experience has always been good and the food was enough for multiple meals. Definitely recommend checking them out!
