The main course was good—actually, great! No complaints at all. It was cooked and seasoned exactly how we wanted. The fried rice was so flavorful that we ordered 2 extra servings to go. The seafood was perfectly prepared—not undercooked or overcooked, just right.
The appetizer wasn’t really for me. It was a jalapeño stuffed with fish and deep-fried; it was okay. The crab rangoon was decent, and both the onion soup and salad were just okay.
Damian, the gentleman who assisted us, was fantastic—friendly and attentive. The manager, Sunny, also came by for a quick and pleasant chat, which was a nice touch. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is very friendly.
They have two sections: one for the hibachi show experience and another for a more chill, laid-back vibe. You won’t be disappointed. We’ll definitely be back!

This was our first visit to Kyoto. We were there to celebrate my wife’s birthday, she was given a fun crown and was sung to twice. They were attentive, helpful, made sure we were well taken care of. We loom forward to our next dining experience.

Let me start with the fact they we waited 26 min before even being seated. They did not tell us there was a wait. I tried to call ahead to make a reservation and was told same day reservations were not accepted. We waited over 25 min because they needed to “fill the tables with walk ins “ for hibachi. The chef made zero attempt to make a show. It was boring and not worth the money. It was also my grandmas birthday which I told them and they did not tell the chef or help us celebrate her until they brought a birthday hat last minute. The chef then said oh you should have told me it was your birthday. I kindly said well I did. He literally argued with me and made me feel so bad. 160$ down the drain. Horrible service, disappointing and zero attempt to make our hibachi experience fun!

We ordered to go this time. The food was prepared almost to the minute they said it would be. The staff was polite, friendly and even offered to help me out with my food. I have an allergy to shrimp. The team was very mindful to ensure my food items were prepared and packaged separately from the other orders that included shrimp. The restaurant smelled amazing and guests were enjoying the hibachi performance at the grills/tables. I loved that it was decorated for Halloween, very fun! We will absolutely be dining here again. The person, “Baobo” who posted 3 days ago about it being ” uncomfortably cold”, it was snowing, it was below 25°F outside, and it was really windy. The restaurant probably did their best in those conditions to make it comfortable inside. Today it was 27°F outside with lots of snow still and I was quite comfortable in there, grow up.
The staff are very friendly here and the Hibachi employees have always been friendly and fun. They play little games with you and help you make good memories here, I’ve taken a lot of people close to me here, and they’ve always wanted to come back! The only problem I have here sometimes is that it can take a few minutes for them to come out, but they have to get all their ingredients out so it makes sense.
Food is very flavorful and they’re very respectful about how you want your steak done. Yum Yum sauce is very special to this location, can’t find their quality anywhere else. They even sell their Yum Yum sauce, so I can enjoy it at home now! The Hibachi items come with free onion soup and salad and both are delicious. Price is very reasonable and fair. A nice 9/10 for this place.

This was my first time trying hibachi. It was an interesting experience and the food was very delicious!
My friend and I were seated within minutes of arriving at the steakhouse, however, the wait time after we placed our order was horrendously long. We didn’t receive everything we ordered until nearly 1.5 hours later. Thankfully, we weren’t very hungry so the wait was bearable. It gave us some time to work up an appetite.
We ordered the chicken and steak hibachi combo. The salad that came with the meal was soooo good! I’d be fine with going there and just ordering a huge bowl of that! The chicken and steak were to die for, and the fried rice and vegetables tasted awesome as well.
I wouldn’t recommend eating here if you’re under any time constraints, but it seems to be a decent option otherwise.

Kyoto Japanese Steakhouse is hands down one of my favorite places to eat! The filet mignon is always cooked to perfection—so tender and flavorful—and the fried rice is absolutely incredible. Every visit is a treat, not just because of the amazing food but because of the fantastic experience. The chefs are super fun and always put on a great show, making it the perfect place to bring friends and family. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, ensuring a great time every single visit. If you’re looking for delicious food and an unforgettable dining experience, Kyoto is the place to be!

Great food, had the Hibachi Steak and Chicken, my partner had the Hibachi Shrimp, comes with salad or onion soup, and a side of Yum Yum sauce. Third time here, and as usual the fried rice and vegetables are excellent. Everything is prepared and cooked right in front of you. The server was very entertaining and deliberately comical. It’s a complete performance. Bring your sense of humor. Great place for a lunch or dinner engagement. The bill was $30. Not bad at all. I did ask that they wipe the area I was sitting at a little better. There were no issues with that. Other than the people they set me with that were visiting from Chicago, and obviously had no time for fun and entertainment while eating, I had a great time. Yes it’s a big grill that you sit around and you can be sat with random people. I just prefer people who enjoy themselves. I do highly recommend that you try this place. It’s addicting. Sorry forgot to take pictures before I started eating.

First time I came here was for my birthday 5 years ago and the grill cook hit me in the eye with a piece of chicken. Decided to stop in again the other night because my husband was craving sushi and this was on the way home from the gym. On Thursdays, they have 50% off sushi and it was great because we were able to try different rolls for half the price. We had 4 different rolls and also had shrimp yakisoba. The yakisoba was sooo good! Lots of flavor and so delicious. The sushi we had was okay. They didn’t have anything that was seared on the menu and seared salmon is my favorite. Restaurant was okay. They were super busy so we had to wait while to be seated but the food didn’t take too long to arrive after we ordered. Staff was nice. Will probably try this place again for the hibachi grill or to try their other rolls. I also had 2 cocktails but they were a little too sweet to what I normally prefer. Total for our entire meal (shrimp yakisoba, 4 different sushi rolls, 2 cocktails) was about $70 before tip. Great deal!
