It was AMAZING! The food was great, but the chef also cooked the food right on front of you! Not only that, he juggled the eggs and utensils, throwing them all over the place and not breaking anything until he meant to break an egg! At my table, we had 6 people, so there were six orders! I think it was even more exciting with more people at the table. So if you plan to go, be sure to bring company. These chefs are AMAZING! Make sure to pay special attention to all stages of the cooking because they still might suprise you! The restaurant prefers reservations because it can get pretty packed, but if you are willing to wait for it, this food is well-worth the wait!

Absolutely love Kyoto’s, the staff is very friendly and if you bring kids the chef makes sure to include them and do some pretty cool tricks . Went to this while in town. Seemed pricey but after dining was well worth it. I had the shogun special. So much food and all delicious. Watching the preparation was great fun. Too bad I didn’t have my camera out for the flaming onion! Cook was very friendly as well. We have made this somewhat of a tradition for anniversaries. It’s not big, it’s not flashy, it is a great dining experience. The staff is gracious and the food is as rewarding as the performance of the cooks.

I’m only giving a one-star review because I can’t do a no star review. They don’t deserve any stars. Had a 6:30 reservation, got there at 6:20. Took 15 minutes to be greeted, I did not get seated until 7:00. After being seated at our table, it took another 10 minutes before we were offered anything to drink or brought Waters. Sat there another 15 minutes and our food still wasn’t even started to be cooked. I then went up to one of the workers and ask them how much longer it was going to be she said she didn’t know. I then told her if we do not get served within the next 10 minutes ( meaning the guy would be at our table cooking our food) we will be leaving. The girls proceeded to tell me that it wasn’t her fault I told her I know it wasn’t but I have a reservation I should have already been having my food . It was then 7:40 and we decided to get up and leave. Absolutely poor service. No customer communication when we walked in and poor responses when confronted. Absolutely will never go there again they just lost out on it at least $100 sale for my group of four.

Good idea to make reservations. We didn’t, but we only waited 15 minutes or so. Kids had a blast. They asked to rate this place 5 starts. They all had sushi. It looked good and they devoured it. We had four from the grill. The chef put on a good show. My 7 year old ran for his life when the onion volcano erupted! He thought it was awesome. The food was all as expected. Not the best food ever, but very tasty. We’ll be back. For sure. We probably hit the sushi bar. They had some tables around the bar for sushi.
