The Atmosphere is nice and quiet, as expected on. Week night. The service is nice as well. But the food was awesome!!!
I ordered samon sashimi, and Hibachi Steak. The soup that came with in was a little salty for my taste and the Salaad dressing was all over the small salaad the entree comes with, which I preferred not to be, as I don’t like dressing with my Salaad. But the main entree was superb!!! The steak was perfectly done!!! Loved it.

Wow! What a yummy yummy treat. Relax and take your time with this feast sure to delight. I got the shrimp udon soup and the yummy roll and I’m sure everything there is amazing. Relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Fun and kind wait staff. Just make your night or afternoon or midday and go there! Your belly, your partner, your date or your family will thank you for it.

What a find! In town for a funeral and was worried I wouldn’t be able to find any decent sushi, but I was wrong. Uni Don was incredible with nice additions of fermented sides and seaweed salad. Hamachi slices were perfect temperature and protein to starch ratio was spot on. Rice vinegar balance was tuned in and sushi rice served just over room temp. Service was very friendly and welcoming. Highly impressed with quality of food and service. Great strip mall find!

We’re so glad that we finally checked this place out! We ordered the fried gyoza, steak hibachi, 2 special rolls, and one order of sashimi. The gyoza was perfectly cooked and deliciously cripsy. We asked for the steak hibachi cooked rare, and it was perfect and so tender! Restaurants often overcook steak, but that was not the case here! The sushi and sashimi were very fresh tasting, and very flavorful! The sushi was also presented beautifully. Added bonus: the wasabi tasted REAL, not the fake green sludge that you might get at other places. The staff were also so friendly, attentive, and welcoming! Thank you for a fantastic meal, we will be back soon!

I recently visited Kyoto Hibachi Sushi and ordered the Bento Box with teriyaki tofu. First off, the people here are extremely nice and the service was welcoming. However, the food left me a bit underwhelmed.
The wontons were good, but the tofu was mushy and lacked texture. The sushi was just okay, nothing to rave about, and I was a bit surprised to find the sushi ginger was brown. Overall, the meal was pretty mid across the board. It’s not a bad spot, but I wouldn’t rush back either.

The food is really good, at least everything I’ve tried, the staff is friendly, and the store is clean and well furnished. Honestly this place should be a lot more busy than it is, especially considering the choices of places to eat in this town. It’s criminal that they aren’t packed at all hours , it’s a great place.

I have loved this place since moving to Ashland City around 3 years ago. This place has been a staple for random dinner nights. Tonight, the shrimp in the stir fry had the consistency of old dry chicken. Very awful. I had a crunchy shrimp roll as well and it was one of the worst crunchy shrimp rolls I have ever had. Idk what was up with the shrimp tonight but it was awful! Everything else was delicious.

Some of the best Sushi in the Middle TN area. Didn’t take too long and most of the tables were full. Great addition to the area as most the other food in Ashland City is middle of the road.

We went in for dinner last time and this time lunch. FRESH special lunch rolls and great price. Still better than most other sushi in middle TN. Even tho this was only 10 days later, the service and speed is getting faster. It was damn near perfect, matching the food. Only thing that would be better would be some traditional tea pots. (For us that love tea and not sweet tea lol) the staff was so amazing and even tho only the second time there, greeted us and remembered us. Sweet small town feel and for the newest and really only good sit down meal in AS, we will continue to eat here. Thank you

Still the best, not just sushi restaurant but the staff is AMAZING and the nicest team of people around. Took the wifey for her birthday and she got to blow out the Olympic torch.
