Reviews
I ordered over the phone a take out. The person taking the call was nice and clarified my order correctly. They gave me a processing time and my order was ready when pick it up. Everything was as I ordered. When I arrived there they quickly attended me, processed the payment and were very nice, polite and professional. I was in and out.
The place looked clean and big! I think I’ll def need to go there next time to dine in.
The rest of the food was very good as well. The crab rangoons could be more crispy, but I know different rest do it differently.
Also, I found the prices very reasonable.
Overall, I’m very satisfied and will come back to this restaurant
Always stop by whenever I go through Holden.
The dragon roll was very good with very well balanced flavors and great texture between the crispy tempura, the tender shrimp, the velvety avocado and cream cheese, and the rich sauce.
The crab rangoons were hot and fresh with simple cream cheese and crab filling… just the way I like them without any onions inside the filling.
The mixed tempura was wonderfully light and crisp… not at all greasy… with shrimp, chicken, sweet potato, onion, and broccoli.
For entrees, we got teriyaki steak and teriyaki chicken hibachi. I’m came with fried rice, sautéed zucchini and onion, a few peeled and deveined shrimp, and the steak/chicken. Before the main entrees were brought out, we also had a simple salad with iceberg lettuce, shredded carrots, and ginger dressing, and a clear broth soup with onions, scallions, and mushrooms.
Everything was hot and fresh and presented beautifully with orchids as garnishment. The plates themselves are unique and beautiful.
They serve coke products and have sweet and unsweetened ice tea.
The service was attentive and prompt and polite.
Note: this is NOT a hibachi restaurant where the chef performs a show for you while cooking your meal. Everything was prepared in the back kitchen.
We’ll be back!
Servers are usually overloaded any day of the week, and get variable assistance from the host/takeout person. Get past that, we do recommend!
