For an AYCE weekday lunch at $23.95, this place offers solid, above-average value. The dining area is clean and the staff are friendly and attentive, which made the experience comfortable. The only small downside for me was that the sushi had a bit too much rice—less rice would make everything taste even better. The red bean ice cream was a lovely surprise and brought back childhood memories, something you don’t often find in the U.S. Definitely save room for dessert—the strawberry flavor was great too

I wasnt sure about and all you can eat sushi place for 31 dollars a person. And I was pleasantly surprised, this place has the best service and ultra high quality sushi and rolls. I enjoyed it so much I am returning again tonight!

Update, the food and the staff left such an impression on me, I came back again tonight for more. My server tonight was Yuni ( very petite asian lady with long hair) she was absolutely amazing. As I spoke with her about what I liked, she went above and beyond and recommended the perfect choices from the menu and brought me out 2 different dishes to try that I didnt ask for and was amazing! I travel for business and my diet is very peculiar, Kyoka is now my top place to visit when in Austin. Thank you everyone for being RockStars!

Took the family out for all-you-can-eat sushi and decided to try Kyota. We’ve been to several AYCE sushi spots, so we have a pretty good sense of what makes a place stand out.

Service: The service was excellent—super responsive and attentive throughout the meal.

Atmosphere: The space is open and roomy, but it was very loud. It was hard to carry on a conversation, and at times we had trouble hearing our server.

Food: Mixed reviews from the family overall. There were only two items I wouldn’t order again: the 911 roll and the peppered tuna. The 911 roll had an unpleasant fish paste that didn’t sit well with any of us, and the peppered tuna was drenched in a sweet sauce that overpowered the fish.

On the bright side, several dishes were excellent. The Volcano Roll, Shaggy Dog, hibachi steak, and shrimp were all delicious. My wife especially enjoyed the chicken fried rice and everything else she ordered.

Value: Great pricing—under $32 per AYCE, which is solid for an AYCE sushi experience.

Overall: Definitely worth trying. While not everything hit the mark, there were enough standout dishes and good service to make it a place I’d recommend.

We went here on a coin flip and found a GEM! I got the all you can eat special for $32. On the weekends, draft beers are $4 (when I went, this included Electric Jellyfish!) They have happy hour during the week as well, but I don’t remember when it starts.

If you are looking for fresh, delicious ingredients, crisp, fresh veggies, great service, and experienced chefs.. You will find all of this at Kyoka Sushi Bar. So good!

Great new AYCE sushi place. Food was very good and fresh and very much worth the price. Both my wife and I greatly enjoyed our lunch and stopped ordering before getting really full, so everything tasted just perfect.

The seaweed salad was the lone survivor in a battlefield of bad food. The sushi was warm and mushy — a crime against rice and fish. The California roll? Fishy in all the wrong ways. The shrimp tempura tasted like it was dredged through a mud puddle, then deep-fried into a brick. FYI, tempura is supposed to be light and crispy, not rock solid.

The crab rangoons were dessert-level sweet — like someone confused sugar for salt — and the green tea ice cream had less flavor than a snow cone in July. I swear the cooks must still be recovering from COVID because taste buds were definitely not involved in this meal.

The cost performance is very high, the food is delicious and fresh, and the staff’s service attitude is very good. The restaurant didn’t deliberately make the sauce salty or sweet because it was a buffet, which made people unable to eat a lot. Therefore, I especially like this newly opened restaurant. I have already eaten with my family twice in a week, and I will continue to patronize it in the future. The lunch is $20 and the dinner is $30, which is really a conscience price.

So glad we tried this place! All you can eat for $31.95 can’t be beat. The sushi and sashimi are fresh and you get nice pieces of COLD fish. The service was prompt and kind and our server make great roll recommendations. The tempura was a little heavy for my liking however there’s so much else to choose from I didn’t miss it at all. I will be back and strongly encourage you to stop by
