As others have pointed out, the flavor is lacking. The noodle is chewy and bouncy, but the sauce is barely there. There’s also almost no meat in the black bean noodles. I thought they gave me vegetarian by mistake, but no, there’s meat, just very very little. Pro tip: Paik’s black bean noodles is wayyyyy better (more meat pieces, more veggies, more taste, and slightly cheaper too)

Every time I take soup, but one day they decided to serve regular water instead of soup, like you usually serve, it was regular water with a lot of salt. And broken shells were always mixed with unopened shells, broken shells if they get into the esophagus, then there will be a cut in the stomach of a person. Just a minute…
And one guy there was very kind, the others were not friendly at all

I recommend the jampong! So tasty and rich, it’s the perfect hearty soup. Quick service for everything being made to order!

Jjamppong here is the BEST in Irvine! There’s no better tasting jjamppong than anywhere else. (except K Town in LA!) Rich broth, plenty of protein, and the NOODLES – the BEST.

Located inside Hmart food court, I had the sweet sour pork. The presentation was different than expected but the taste was good. Next time I will definitely get the seafood soup.

I could feel thick and deep seafood & vegetable broth eating JjamPpong
(Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup).
It was really tasty.
Also, Tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) was really good.
It was like a sweet snack.

The food is good. It’s in a food court. They don’t have cups of water. The spicy jjambbong noodles and the jjajangmyun (black bean) noodles with the fried pork are great.

Kyodong Noodles is a gem in the food court, offering superb noodles in a clean, inviting space. The noodles are flavorful and cooked to perfection, catering to all tastes with options like ramen, udon, and soba. Despite difficulties hearing order numbers in the bustling environment, the dining experience is unforgettable. While prices may seem a bit high for a food court, the quality justifies it. Overall, Kyodong Noodles is a must-visit for noodle lovers seeking a satisfying meal.
