Kyo Matcha is such a gem! The interior makes you feel like you’re stepping right into Asia modern, stylish, and super cozy. The AC keeps it perfectly cool, the music sets the vibe, and the whole place even smells amazing, kind of like a new car or a nice hotel.
Their matcha desserts, ice cream, lattes, and drinks are all delicious and surprisingly affordable. It’s the perfect spot to chill with friends or just treat yourself. Definitely worth checking out if you love matcha and a great atmosphere!

Inside is extremely well decorated. It’s warm, comforting, and inviting. The bathroom is even has a fun mirror and you can change the tone of the light. The kids LOVED it. I didn’t touch it.
The drinks were delicious and next time we will try even more flavors. We did not try any of the dessert treats this time, mainly because we wanted one of everything! Holy! The craftsmanship of each dessert looks so good. I’d almost feel bad destroying it by taking a bite. We will next time though!

I love this new location. The aesthetics are great with all of the green upholstery and the light brown wood around the location. When you enter they have 2 large tablets where you can order. The desserts and drinks come out quickly. They have seating for all party sizes and the desserts were really fresh. I love the soft serves, matcha cheese mousse cake, black bean sesame mousse cake and the black charcoal match roll. The desserts were airy, had great textures and taste fresh. Prices here are reasonable and don’t forget to join their rewards program.

My go-to place for the best desserts. On February 4, 2026, I almost had a disappointing experience because the dessert I usually order seemed smaller than expected. But then a lovely lady at the counter stepped in and completely turned things around. She was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared, which truly made my day. Consistently great matcha, and always a welcoming, friendly staff. That’s why I keep coming back.

Got pulled into this wonderful Dessert place by watching a Towel Cake post on Instagram. We had to try it !
Came here after dinner at Thai place across the street on my wife’s Birthday. We knew what we want , it had to be the Ube towel cake .
The Cake is crepe folded in shape of towel filled with Ube mousse and topped with Ube dust ! It could be something you cant finish on your own because of the overwhelming taste after few bites. But the first few bites are definitely wonderful. They didn’t have “Dream of sakura” at that time but we will return to try our other match items on the menu.

Service was fast and efficient , only if the young men behind counter can put a little smile on their faces will add a lot more friendliness to the atmosphere.
Drinks and Swiss selections are similar to Kyoto Matcha but with a little difference. Everything was delicious and tasty.
Given this location is very spacious and has good amount of seatings, this is definitely a good spot for people to hang out or just do some light study or work while enjoying some matcha dishes.
Since it’s located inside of Merriweather District, so the parking is very convenient with only a short walk from the parking lot to the shop . And surrounded by various restaurants.
