I’ve been here many times and the food is consistently very good. They have a nice menu with great food and excellent sushi options. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Prices are a bit expensive now, but overall it’s a very nice

Very nice place. Servers are extremely accommodating and attentive. However, you need to like Japanese cooking. All of my dishes tased heavily from vinegar. It wasn’t for me. It’s my first encounter with Japanese food. it’s nothing like Chinese cuisine. I liked the place, just not the food. My son’s opinion is different as he can cook Japanese style for himself and he loved the food. All I can say is if you like Japanese cuisine, then you will like it

Delicious and a unique Kosher dining experience. The decor is very nice and the outside is deceptively bland compared to the beautiful inside. Although we did not get to use the tatami room with only 2 people, it is beautiful and hopefully next time we will be able to dine there.

One bow of soup to cost 62 dollar with a tip is wrong, ripe of and the food was just like an other bow of soup that you get in Korean of Chinese restaurants.
I live in New York and I could have had a New York stake and a beautiful drink for that much money.not a bow of soup with to bits of meat in it and the rest chine’s noodles for 1 dollar.
Shame!!!

Great place that’s been around a long time. Food is always fresh and tasty. ( Ambiance is dated but decent)

The owners are great! KYO has been a dining staple for many years. They have some very interesting appetizers and entrees. A little pricey but it’s glatt kosher so expected. I love the Asian inspired booths.

I was hoping for an authentic Japanese menu. Steak with fries, string beans and mashed potatoes – it couldn’t be more American. The decor is dated, plates and cutlery were old.

The owners themselves were acting as the waiters, so they were overwhelmed and all over the place. (And what’s the automatic 18% tip for when there are no real waiters?)

But most of all, the flavors just weren’t good, and certainly not for this price point.

I had a nice experience there last night. I ordered the Herb Salmon and Mango Tango drink and thoroughly enjoyed both!

I loved the decor or the restaurant as well.

Food is very average. Way too expensive for what you’re getting.

Love the vibe though.

Credit card fee? C’mon
