Great little place in one of the strip malls here. Fish was fresh presentation was great and waitress was attentive. All I could ask for. Would recommend if you live / are visiting in the area. Wouldn’t recommend driving far to get here though. The food is great, but the ambiance is kinda hole in the wall. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area and wanting some sushi. Was $30 for the Chrashi bowl when I came. Really reasonable.

Ordered take out on a Friday, so they were very busy. I had to wait about an hour for the order but it was worth the wait! The sushi I ordered was very fresh and the portions were large. The side salad was very good, loved the dressing. The kids enjoyed the chicken teriyaki!

I have been dining here over 20 years. The fish is always fresh, the teriyaki steak and chicken always terrific and maybe my favorite is the chicken udon. On weekends you will need reservations, it is that busy!

Really nice staff, and that’s saying something since I ain’t never seen a sushi chef who wasn’t at least a little nice. They are FAST, too. Small, quaint place and the food is absolutely delicious. It’s no wonder this place always gets so packed!

Great traditional Japanese restaurant that offers great sushi as well! They change up their offerings everyday and serve a huge variety of Japanese dishes. They offer takeout and dine in, and they have a lunch special that is a nice deal! My favorite dish was the agedashi tofu with it’s warm medicinal broth it was incredible!

Excellent sushi and fresh rolls. This place has authentic Japanese specials which you don’t find at your typical roll place. We tried the shinshu and wagyu A5 sushi and they were both amazing. The sweet shrimp was an experience as well with the sushi part and the head used for a fresh miso soupe. It was all fantastic and the rolls are excellent too. Highly recommend this gem in diamond bar.

Probably bad luck, so take it with a grain of salt… Just like a preview of things to come, the menu arrived with leftovers stuck in the pages. Not normal for a restaurant where you’re getting ready to pay from$40-60 per person.

I came to this restaurant many times when I used to live in the area. Tonkatsu is the best dish they have in the menu. The fish is not that good, but it’s not bad either. The oyakodon was pretty bad the one time I had it. They’re usually understaffed, but the waiters are always friendly and polite. I would come back if I was a few blocks away, but wouldn’t make the effort if I was any further than a 15 min drive
