I don’t want to leave a bad review for a place I haven’t been able to try, but this place never ever seems to be open when I go there. It is 12:30 and they say that they are open at 12:00 on Google. This is fine if they want to publish their hours but make them accurate. I’m not down here often and wanted to make a pretty sizable order. But no one answered the phone no hours are updated on Google. I actually physically stopped by the location, and there was a very old faded sign that says 3:00 p.m. however it is so faded I can’t tell what day it says 3:00 p.m. for opening. The businesses down here in Detroit would do a lot better if they tried a little harder.

I’m really disappointed with my experience here. The food was not hot at all. The rice looked and tasted like it had been sitting out all day, and the egg rolls were cold. Even the duck sauce tasted off, which was concerning.

This place should be shamed to call itself a Chinese food restaurant. The food was extra bland. It tasted like they didn’t even care. Shrimp fried rice had no onions or bean sprouts. I think they just made it with cooking oil. I should have known it was something when the sign on the glass said cash only

Food was horrible. I bought Almond boneless chicken it was so over cooked the crab ragoon was even worse. The shrimp fried rice was salty and only had 4 shrimp on top of all that rice. The only good thing was the Pepsi. I paid a little over $18 dollars waste of money. I had to throw it out.

It wasn’t good at all! The appearance of the restaurant is unique to say the least. Eat it at your own risk.. however based on my experience I’d not take the risk again

I always go get the two meat combination, no egg roll extra rice! I get this at least once a week, sometimes even more. That’s how great their food be!!!!! I’ve been going since a little girl with my mom and family. I like how they haven’t changed a bit!!!

I lived 4 minutes from this place, and I’d go here at least twice a week. Now that I live 30 mins from here I go once a week. The food is AMAZING! I always order #3 (sweet and sour chicken) and it’s enough to fill me up and still have enough for lunch the next day. I recommend Kwong Village to anyone who love’s Chinese food with outstanding service.
