Very tasty food. Small but cozy place . Friendly staff but they seemed very busy. He took orders from a table that was seated after we were. My husband’s food was served, then they served the other table and then me which was inappropriate. Its not a fancy restaurant but that’s a cardinal service rule….you wait on folks that are there first and you serve one table fully. Not sure why that happened but another couple also noticed. We had Fresh Vegetable Rolls for an appetizer, Chicken Pad Thai and Avocado Curry with Chicken. The rolls were very fresh but light on shrimp and variety of veggies. The food was tasty and we both have leftovers. Glad we found this restaurant. We’ll be back but I hope the service is better.

The prawns, chicken satay, potstickers were all great starters. We enjoyed the pad Thai and Tom Kai soup.
We ordered a few of the desserts and were very happy with all of them – the 5th star is for the taro boba bubble tea – it was a total stand out and delicious. Worth stopping by when we’re in the area for bubble tea alone.
Will be back for food and more, an easy hop from the airport and friendly and quick enough for kids and a traveling crew.

Had to try the classics, fish cakes with an amazing vinegar cucumber sauce and the chicken pad thai, best I’ve had in the PNW, everyone was friendly too

This is a hidden gem in Federal Way! The food, service and the small house atmosphere was a calming experience. First time here and would definitely not be the last. Ordered the tofu appetizer, the masaman curry, the mango fried rice, desserts .. and wanted more. The service is excellent. Enough parking.. not an upscale restaurant but definitely recommend for the food and service..

I love everything about this place. The food always hits the spot and they can veganize most things. The service always warm, friendly and quick. The ambience is of a cozy hole in the wall place that serves delicious food. Please keep things excellent as always.

I’ve been going to Kwan Tip Thai for over 10 years, and it’s always been one of my favorite restaurants. The customer service is excellent, and the food is absolutely delicious. The owner is such a kind lady, and since it’s family-run, the service always feels warm and welcoming.
A must-try is the Pad Thai and the Crispy Garlic Chicken — both are outstanding! Honestly, everything I’ve tried on the menu has been great, but those two dishes are especially popular and worth ordering.
What makes it even more special is that every time I call, they know my name and my order — it really feels like family.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Thai food with amazing service!

To say that this restaurant is good, great, fantastic would be an understatement because it’s phenomenal. We ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, crCrispy Garlic Chicken and steamed white rice. The Pad Thai is exceptional. Well balanced, tangy, sweet, super flavourful and not saucy. The carrots, peanuts and freshes bean sprouts I’ve ever seen came on top of the noodles so everything was still crisp and fresh when we got it home. The garlic chicken was so crispy and delicious I don’t even have words. The fried basil is a nice addition too. I regret letting my husband take the leftovers to work. I cannot wait to try everything on the menu.
